NEST 2020 application process, which started from January 7, 2020, concluded on 14th June 2020. Candidates could access their application forms for NEST through online mode. There was no offline mode to apply for the NEST 2020 entrance exam. Only one application forms were accepted from each candidate. Candidates had to provide a valid email id and other details to register online for NEST. Before filling the NEST application form, candidates had to go through the NEST 2020 eligibility criteria. Once the candidates successfully completed the registration process, they were allotted a system-generated user ID and password, which was sent to their registered email ID. With these login credentials, the candidate could fill the application form and submitted it before the last date of registration.
NEST is a national level entrance examination conducted for admission to the 5-year integrated M.Sc. programme from NISER (National Institute of Science Education and Research) Bhubaneswar & UM-DAE CEBS (University of Mumbai-Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences), Mumbai.

Candidates should follow the steps mentioned below to successfully fill and submit the application form:
Step 1 : Registration:
Go to the official website of NEST 2020.
Click on the 'Apply Online' tab and register yourself by providing your basic details.
Enter the secret code and click on 'Register' tab.
After that, you will receive an SMS on your mobile number with your User ID and Password.
Then, you receive an email which will be sent to the registered email address with a link to the login page and login credentials..
Step 2: Filling up of NEST 2020 Application Form:
After logging in with the registered E-mail ID and Password, you have to provide your personal details such as
Name,
Gender,
Date of Birth, Religion,
Nationality,
Parent's Name,
Academic Details,
Mobile number,
Qualifying Marks,
Year of Passing, Board, Marks, Roll Number and Percentage of Marks
Address details and so on
After that, you have to choose 5 examination centres in order of your preference.
After choosing the exam centres, click on the 'Submit' tab.
You have to select a security question-answer as per your wish as well as the preferred examination centres.
Step 3: Uploading the Documents:
In this step, you have to upload a scanned copy of your Signature and Photograph in the prescribed size and format.
File format: JPEG
File size: maximum 100 KB
Note: If the resolution and size are not correct as prescribed in the above, the system will not accept the document.
After uploading scanned copy of documents, candidates must click on 'review' tab and check whether all the details have been filled correctly or not, and make changes wherever required.
Step 4: Payment of Application Fee:
The application fee can be paid in online mode using Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking.
This is to be noted that the fees paid are not refundable.
After that, read the declaration and click in the white box next to ‘I agree’, and then press ‘Submit’.

Step 5: Confirmation Page:
After successful payment of NEST 2020 application fee, a summary page is generated with all the details entered, which completes the application form submission process.
Take a printout of the summary page for further use in admission rounds.
There is no correction facility provided by the conducting authority for the application form. It is highly recommended for applicants who are appearing for NEST 2020 examination to fill the application form correctly in one go. If there is any update regarding the correction with an application form, it would be announced officially by NEST on its official website.
After the completion of the NEST 2020 Application Process, candidates will be able to get their NEST 2020 Admit Card. The admit card for NEST 2020 will be available for download from April 24, 2020. The admit card will not be sent to any applicant. The admit card is an essential document to appear for the entrance examination. Without the admit card, no candidates will be allowed to write the entrance exam.
