The PAF entrance exam 2026 exam pattern consists of no negative marking for unattempted or incorrect responses, while +1 marks are awarded for correct answers. There are multiple-choice questions in the exam. The PAF entrance exam 2026 consists of a written admission test, a general proficiency exam, and a design aptitude test, followed by a personal interview. Pearl Academy Entrance Exam Pattern: Written Test & Interview

The final selection criteria for admission at the Pearl Academy is based on two main stages, including a written entrance exam round and a personal interview round. The Written Admission Test (WAT) comprises a General Proficiency Test (GPT), a Design Aptitude Test (DAT) and a Media Aptitude Test (MAT).

Stage II includes the Personal Interview round, including Portfolio Review and Studio Test as per the course requirement.As per the Pearl Academy entrance exam pattern, the written entrance exam will take place in a computer-based mod,e and the personal interview round will be held in offline mode. Stage 1. Written Entrance Test

Every candidate intending to get admission to this institute must appear for the written tes,t which includes the General Proficiency Test (GPT), Design Aptitude Test (DAT) and Media Aptitude Test (MAT). 

• GPT: The General Proficiency Test (GPT) will be evaluated based on their knowledge of the English language, data interpretation, logical reasoning, basic mathematics, and quantitative ability. 
• DAT: The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is conducted to examine candidates' creative aspects, drawing skills, observation & imagination skills, sensitivity to the environment, design skills and communication skills. 
• MAT: The Media Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted for candidates who are opting for media studies. Their aptitude is tested based on their creative skills, visual expression, observation skills and command of the language. 

Stage 2. Personal Interview

The shortlisted students for the personal interview are based on the scores of the written entrance exam. This personal interview round is the second stage of the selection process at the Pearl Academy. This round comprises the portfolio evaluation or review round, which is dependent on the material handling & managing skills of the student.
