Candidates going for admission in any of the program at PES University will have to appear for PESSAT 2021 entrance exam. The exam will be conducted online for all the programs. Candidates are advised to go through all the details including eligibility criteria and exam pattern for the PESSAT 2021 entrance exam in order to know the structure of the exam. The exam pattern will also provide details about the number of questions coming in the exam and total time allotted so that the candidates may manage their time accordingly.
The PESSAT 2021 exam pattern is different for different courses. The examination is organised in the online mode (Computer-Based Mode) only. However, the exam for B.Des course is conducted in offline mode. The duration of PESSAT examination is 3 hours for B.Tech and 2 hours for all other courses. A total of 180 questions are asked in B.Tech. A total of 120 questions are asked in all other courses. There is no negative marking in PESSAT. The detailed exam pattern for different courses has been listed in the tables below.

PES University has decided the marking scheme for PESSAT entrance exam. The marking scheme will be used while calculating the result of PESSAT entrance exam 2021. As per the marking scheme, no mark will be deducted if in case the candidate leaves any question unattempted.
For every correct answer, candidates are awarded as one mark.
Negative marking is not applicable in PESSAT.

Dear Student,
PES University, Bangalore conducts PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) to shortlist students for the LLB course. Candidates who have secured a valid score in CLAT are exempted from appearing for the PESSAT exam but they are required to register for it.
