The TS EDCET 2026 web options process will be activated after the counselling schedule is announced. Only candidates who complete certificate verification will be eligible to participate in the choice-filling process. Aspirants are advised to register for as many college options as possible to improve their chances of securing admission. Once choices are filled, candidates must save and freeze their preferences.

Steps to Exercise TS EDCET 2026 Web Options

The following are the procedures that participants can use to execute their TS EDCET 2026 web options - 

• Following complete online certificate verification, the validated list of qualified and eligible applicants list will be presented on the website on the notified date.
• If there are any errors in the candidates' validated data, they must report them to the helpdesk centre or send an email to the official email of TS EDCET. Any claim made after the allocation of seats will be denied.
• Applicants can submit their web choices by visiting the web options link, which is open on the days specified.
• Only desktops or laptops must be used to access web options. Students must not experiment with the web choices portal on mobile phones or tablets.
• If the person is using choices from the internet centre, they must ensure that they log out after entering the options for the applicant's information's safety.
• To access the web choices, candidates must provide their login credentials.
• Applicants are recommended to carefully select the top preference, second choice, and so on to ensure that the institution/ course of their choice as per their priorities. 
• The alternatives can be frozen once they are pleased with the priority list.
• Options cannot be changed after they have been frozen. However, option editing will be available on the specified date.
• To avoid failing to secure a seat, candidates should explore as many choices as possible.
• Aspirants are urged to print out the final frozen alternatives.

Who can Participate in TS EDCET 2026 Web Options?

Phase 1 - 

Those students who have secured a rank in the TS EDCET 2026 and are shortlisted for the counselling round can exercise the web options for Phase I. 

Phase 2 - 

The following applicants can exercise the TS EDCET 2026 web options for Phase 2. 

• Candidates who secured a seat in Phase I and wish to move to some other participating college.
• Those candidates who participated in Phase I but could not secure a seat in their preferred college.
• Students who were called for counselling but did not attend Phase I.
• The candidates whose seats were allotted but did not report. 
• A candidate who was allotted a seat in Phase I but he or she cancelled the admission.

Important Instructions for TS EDCET 2026 Web Options

• Students have to get their certificates verified at the Help Line Centre before exercising the web options.
• The candidates have to log in to receive the pin in their registered mobile number.
• Candidates can then exercise the TS EDCET 2026 web options according to the schedule.
• Students must be very careful when filling up the choices because the allotment will be based on the candidate’s order of preference.
• Candidates can download the provisional allotment list and report to the allotted college. 
• Options chosen during the first part of counselling will not be recognized throughout the second and final phases of counselling.
• Candidates must choose new alternatives for each stage of web-based counselling.
• If they are content with the previous allocation, they do not need to exercise their options again.
• Options for such colleges may be pursued even if openings are not present, as vacancies may occur due to cancellation, sliding, and conversions.
• If the candidate is offered a Phase seat, they will forfeit their claim to the previously assigned college and must appear to the new college on or before the date specified in the allocation letter.
• If the applicant fails to report by the deadline specified in the assigned college, the claim on both the new and old colleges would be lost.
