About TS EDCET 2025 Counselling (Open)

The TS EDCET 2025 Phase 2 counselling has concluded, and the spot admission process is scheduled for September 30, 2025. Eligible candidates can participate to secure remaining seats in participating B.Ed colleges. Applicants must carry required documents and complete formalities on the specified date to confirm their admission.

The TG EDCET counselling is organised across two phases.If vacant seats are available after the first two rounds, then the conducting authority may organise an additional special counselling round. The counselling process includes events such as online registration cum verification, a list of shortlisted eligible applicants, web options, option editing, provisional seat allotment declaration, college reporting, etc. It is mandatory to register for TS EDCET counselling to be able to submit web options and be considered for seat allotment. To register, aspirants have to pay the required counselling fees via online mode. Those who are allocated seats have to complete the college reporting as per the schedule. After seat allocation, it is compulsory to download the allotment order from the candidate login and submit the same along with other documents asked by the conducting body.

Online Registration cum verification, online payment

• Candidates have to register online at edcetadm.tsche.ac.in as per the specified dates provided by the authorities.
• During registration, they have to furnish the required details in the online application form. The applicants must make sure to enter the correct information. 
• After filling in the data, they must pay the required processing fee for the registration cum verification process.
• Please note that the fees are non-refundable and will differ depending on the reservation category of the applicants.
• Candidates have to pay the registration fee via online modes such as Credit Cards/ Debit Cards/ Internet Banking in favour of ‘Secretary, TGCHE’.

Certificate Verification

• Candidates must check out the list of certificates to be submitted at the time of counselling registration.
• They have to upload scanned copies of the certificates/ documents listed by the authorities for online verification.
• The preliminary verification of documents/ certificates will be conducted based on the scanned copies of the original certificates added by the candidates as per the norms.
• To know the status of online verification of certificates, applicants have to visit the official website.
• The verification officials may raise queries or seek clarifications regarding improper or irrelevant documents. The applicants are requested to respond promptly to those questions and re-upload the correct documents.
• The application of the candidates may be rejected, if they do not acknowledge the queries asked and reply accordingly within the stipulated time.
• Applicants must answer the calls of the verification authorities from the social welfare department. These calls may seek explanations regarding the caste certificates provided by the candidates. Hence, it is mandatory to add the mobile number while registering for TS EDCET counselling.
• Any incorrect or false information detected at any stage of the admission process will cancel the candidature of the candidate.

Declaration of the list of Eligible Candidates

• TSCHE will release the list of aspirants after the successful verification of certificates. The list will be displayed on the official portal.
• Candidates must confirm the details published on the list such as mobile number, caste category, minority, local area, gender, special category, date of birth, eligible degree, parental income, and specialisation.
• The applicants should notify the Convenor/ Co-ordinator by calling the help centre or sending an email to the said authorities if they notice any errors in the list and get them rectified.
• It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that the data provided by them is accurate.

TS EDCET 2025 Web Options Entry

• For web options entry, aspirants have to sign in to the candidate portal with the essential credentials. 
• While exercising the college options, candidates must check the list of all the eligible colleges and courses available for selection.
• Applicants must carefully add the web choices and take the printout of the saved options.
• As per the schedule, the web options are processed and the seat allotment will be declared on the portal as well as communicated to the students via SMS.
• Candidates who are on the eligibility list will only be eligible for the choice filling. 
• During the TS EDCET choice filling process, aspirants must select both a college and the degree programme they seek to pursue.
• The seat allotment will consider only those students who participate in the web options entry within the specified time.
• Please note that the options submitted by the candidates during choice filling for one phase will not be taken into consideration for another round of counselling.
• Applicants have to exercise web options afresh for the individual phases of TS EDCET counselling.
• Candidates who are satisfied with the previous allocation, are requested not to submit the web choices again.
• College options must be submitted by the candidates for those colleges even if no vacancies exist, as seats may arise due to cancellation, sliding, and conversions.
• Aspirants can edit the college selections during the choice editing window if they feel the need to. They can add, modify, or remove the web selections during the web options editing window.

Seat Allotment

• TS EDCET seat allotment results will be declared college-wise on the counselling portal and an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number during the registration.
• Those who are not satisfied with the allocation of seats can withdraw their candidature from the admissions process.
• Those applicants who are content with the seat allocation have to report to the concerned institute and present all original certificates within the specified dates.
• Tuition fees must be paid by the candidates by challan at any Union bank.
• The final allocation of seats for admission to the B.Ed course is subject to verification of all original certificates at the assigned college. Additionally, the fee payment challan has to be produced by the candidates at the reported college.
• Allotment order and joining report will be provided by the assigned college, which has to be submitted by the candidates along with the original TC.
• Applicants have to submit 2 sets of attested photocopies of all certificates at the allocated colleges. One set of photocopies must be submitted to the Convenor’s office.

If the aspirants cancel their admission, the tuition fees will be refunded as per the criteria below - 

• After the 1st phase, the full tuition fees will be reimbursed.
• 50% of the tuition fee amount will be returned after the final phase.

TS EDCET Counselling 2025 Phase II

Aspirants must note that if they are assigned a seat in phase 2 TS EDCET 2025 counselling, then they will lose the claim on the allotment in the prior round. Such candidates have to report to the new institution within the dates.  If they do not report to the new college, then their allocation will be cancelled on the new as well as on the old institution/ college.

• Candidates who have secured a seat in the previous round of counselling but still wish to move to another institution.

• Those colleges included in the counselling process may be considered for filling vacancies under institutional spot admissions.
• The qualified candidates are requested to check the detailed notification by the respective institutions for the vacant seats, which will appear in any of the region's leading newspapers.
• The aspiring candidates should attend the counselling for spot admission on that particular mentioned date in the newspapers.
• The unfilled seats may be replaced by applicants from the relevant category based on their performance in TS EDCET 2025 for admission to B.Ed.
• Before being granted admission, contenders shall be required to show all original certificates, and one copy each should be submitted at the time of admission confirmation.
• Any deviation will be taken seriously, and such admissions will not be confirmed under any circumstances.
• Candidates must be Indian nationals and have passed the TS EDCET 2025.

TS EDCET 2025 Cutoff
