TS EDCET 2024 Seat Allotment Rules of Reservation for Admission

Admissions will be made by the norms of reservations in effect at the time of Counselling. Here are the significant guidelines that is followed for the reservation of seats during the TS EDCET seat allotment 2024 -

  • The Convener of Admissions will fill 100% of University College seats and 75% of the sanctioned intake of seats in the unaided, affiliated, minority, and non-minority professional institutions.
  • Admission to 85 percent of the convener quota of seats in the State's affiliated colleges should be earmarked for Telangana State local candidates, with the remaining 15 percent being unreserved seats.
  • The applicant must meet local / non-local status requirements as provided in the regulations.
  • Non-local candidates are only eligible for 15% of unreserved seats. Local candidates are also suitable for 15% of unreserved seats and 85% of seats designated for the local region.
  • Students from the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) who are not covered by the reservation plan for SCs, STs, and BCs will be given a 10% reservation at educational institutions in the State of Telangana.
  • Principals are advised to fill the management quota of seats in their respective colleges by publishing a separate notice in the top daily newspapers and adhering to TSCHE norms.
  • Candidates should be accepted following the current admission rules. The specifics of the seats filled under the "Management Quota" must be notified to the "TSCHE for approval and confirmation.

Dear Student,

TS EDCET 2020 registration dates are closed, and it is not possible to change the exam centre now. The hall ticket for the entrance exam will be released on September 20, 2020.
