This exam is an annual entrance exam conducted to offer admission to Bachelor of Education or B.Ed course and related teacher training courses. Documents and Certificates Required for TS EDCET 2024 Counselling Process
Below is a complete list of all the documents required for the TS EDCET 2024 counselling process. Candidates who pass the exam and are named on the merit list must submit these documents to participate in the TS EDCET 2024 counselling procedure. If they do not comply, their entry will be delayed or revoked.
The table below contains a list of additional documents required for TS EDCET counselling 2024, as well as information on who should submit them. Applicants who have passed the exam can attend the TS EDCET virtual counselling/ seat allotment session on the notified date from any location with an internet connection.
However, before exercising their web options, candidates must be available at the helpline centre with all of the following documents:
- TS EDCET 2024 Rank Card.
- Memorandum of marks of SSC or 10th standard or equivalent.
- Memorandum of marks of Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent.
- Memorandum of marks of the Qualifying Degree Examination (UG degree).
- Memorandum of marks in PG Examination for aspirants who do not have the minimum qualification marks in graduation.
- Provisional Degree Certificate or Original Degree Certificate of Qualifying Examination.
- Provisional / Original PG Degree for applicants who do not have the minimum qualification marks in Degree.
- Study certificates from class 9th to Graduation.
- Residence certificate for the seven years leading up to the qualifying exams. In the case of individuals who have only studied privately and have no formal education, the qualifying examination will be graduation (for example - Distance or Open School Education).
- Only OC applicants will be eligible for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Reservation category.
- In the case of non-local candidates, a residence certificate or document from either of the parents in Telangana for a duration of ten years is demanded.
- Transfer Certificate.
- In the case of BC/ SC/ ST category candidates, the most recent integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
- Applicants must present an EWS Certificate issued by MRO/ Tahsildar that is valid for the fiscal year 2024-23.
- Muslim and Christian Minority Candidates should submit the "TC" of the SSC containing Minority status (or) a Credential issued by the Head of the Institution where the individual studied or appeared for SSC or its equivalent in the absence of TC.
- Special category certificates for NCC / CAP / PWD (PH) / SPORTS & GAMES (SG).
- Latest Parental Income Certificate provided by MRO, Telangana Govt.
- Aadhaar Card.
Non-local applicants must present the following credentials in order to be considered for allotment under unreserved seats.
Residence Certificate - Aspirants who have lived in the state for a total of ten years, excluding durations of study outside Telangana; or either of whose parents have stayed in the state for ten years, excluding periods of employment outside the state.
Employer Certificate - Applicants who are children of parents who are employed by this State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities, and other similar Quasi Public Institutions within the State at the time of applying for the TS EDCET 2024 examination must provide an Employer Certificate.
TS EDCET 2024 Counselling
TS EDCET 2024 Counselling will begin following the exam with the start of counselling registration and it will all take place online. Admission to B.Ed programmes will be decided through rounds of TS EDCET counselling. The TS EDCET seat allocation will be determined by the category, rank, and number of available seats. Those candidates whose names occur on the merit list will be called to the TS EDCET 2024 counselling.
All eligible candidates must take part in the TS EDCET 2024 counselling process. Candidates will be permitted to participate in TS EDCET web counselling only when they have paid the required fee and have their documents confirmed.

Certificate Verification and Counselling
- The preliminary certificate verification will be performed using scanned copies of original papers uploaded in accordance with the criteria.
- If there are doubts, an inquiry will be made over the phone to determine the authenticity of the documents.
- Before the start of the web options input, a provision/ link for exercising choices will be made available on the website.
- The list of provisionally selected aspirants will be compiled college by college and posted on the Internet, with SMS sent to the valid mobile number provided in the application.
- Candidates must pay the tuition cost or charges by challan at the approved bank.
- Candidates who received a seat through provisional allotment in the counselling can access the website to retrieve the fee payment challan and joining report.
- The final seat allocation for admission is dependent on proper validation of all original certificates at the reporting college and the production of a fee-paid challan.
- Candidates must report to the relevant institute/ college and provide all original certificates within the mentioned time frame.
- Only when all original documents/ certificates have been thoroughly verified will the principal/ verification official issue an allotment order.
- The joining report, along with the original TC, must be signed and submitted at the designated college.
- Applicants are required to submit two sets of verified copies of all certificates to the appropriate institutions; one set is for the colleges, and the other set is for the Convener's office.
Post Document / Certificate Verification
Here we have shared the procedure for exercising web options that commences after the document verification -
- On the specified date, the website will display a validated list of registered and eligible applicants after the online certificate verification.
- If there are any anomalies in the candidates' confirmed data, please report them to the helpdesk centre or send an email through the website's email service. Any claim by the applicants made after the allocation of seats will not be entertained.
- Candidates can exercise their web choices by visiting the Web Options link, which will be available on specified days.
- Candidates must use only desktops or laptops to exercise web options.
- If the candidate is filling choices from the Internet centre, ensure that a proper logout is performed after storing the options for the applicant's information.
- To access the web choices, candidates must provide their login credentials (created upon registration for online certificate verification).
- Candidates are recommended to carefully select the first choice, second preference, and so on to ensure that the college/ course of their choice is in accordance with their priorities.
- The alternatives can be frozen after they are content with the priority list.
- Options cannot be modified or altered after they have been frozen. However, web option editing will be provided on the notified dates.
