Diploma in Engineering/Technology

3 Years

Applicants should have passed their class Xth exam from Uttarakhand Board (or equivalent) with at least 35% aggregate and must have studied Science and Maths at the qualifying level

Diploma in Pharmacy

2 Years

Applicants should have passed their 10+2 exam from a recognised Board from Science stream (PCB/M). Students passing their qualifying exam from correspondence medium are also eligible provided it follows the guidelines laid down by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)

Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology

3 Years

Applicants should have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) exam with 35% aggregate and have studied English as a compulsory subject at the qualifying level 

Diploma in Modern Office Management and Secretarial Practice

2 Years

Applicants should have passed their 10+2 exam (or equivalent) where the applicants must have compulsorily studied English and Hindi at the qualifying level

PG Diploma in Computer Applications

2 Years

Any graduate from a recognised University is eligible

Diploma in Engineering (Lateral Entry)

2 Years

10+2 qualified students who have studied - 

  • Physics, Chemistry and Maths Or

  • Business-related subjects Or

  • 2-year ITI degree holder are eligible

Physical Fitness Eligibility for Uttarakhand JEEP 2021

The applicants should be mentally and physically fit to be eligible for the Uttarakhand JEEP 2021 exam. The applicants have to submit a certificate stating their physical and mental wellness signed by a medical officer of a regional public hospital.

Age Limit Criteria for Uttarakhand JEEP 2021

There is no maximum age limit to be eligible for the Uttarakhand JEEP 2021 exam.

Here are some important pointers regarding the Uttarakhand JEEP 2021 eligibility criteria - 

  • Seats in the Women’s polytechnic colleges will only be filled by female candidates but the open category polytechnic college seats will be open for both male and female candidates

  • Agriculture students can apply under the Diploma in Engineering/Technology programme

  • Lateral entry applicants should have studied maths (not beginners level maths) and science at the qualifying level

  • Candidates wanting to apply for different programmes have to apply via separate application form/s

  • PwD candidates will be given admission in K L Polytechnic Roorkee and the number of seats reserved for them will be -

FAQs about Uttarakhand JEEP Eligibility

How many seats are reserved for the N.C.C certificate holders through Uttarakhand JEEP?

There are no seats reserved for the N.C.C certificate holders. However, a certain percentage of marks will be added to the existing scores secured by such candidates during the counselling process, i.e 1%, 2% and 3% respectively for N.C.C “A”, “B”, “C” certificate holders.

How is the selection process of Foreign Nationals done via Uttarakhand JEEP examinations?

If a foreign national obtains the required cutoff score in the Uttarakhand JEEP examination, then they have to either produce all the relevant documents issued by the country from where he/she belongs to along with a “No Objection Certificate” or must produce a certificate of affirmation (or NOC) issued by the Government of India.

Is it mandatory for an applicant to possess a Bachelor’s degree in a subject related to computers to be eligible to apply for the PGD C.A programme?

No. Anyone who has a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University can apply for the PGD in Computer Applications programme offered at various Uttarakhand Polytechnic institutions via the Uttarakhand JEEP exam.

Can anyone apply for multiple programmes through a single Uttarakhand JEEP application form?

No. If anyone wants to apply for multiple programmes, he/she cannot do so via a single application form. To apply for each group, the applicants have to fill separate application forms.

Can anyone who is a permanent resident of Uttarakhand but completed his/her qualifying study from another state apply for Uttarakhand JEEP exam?

Yes. If any student has completed his/her 10+2 exam (or qualifying exam) from any other state but is a permanent resident of Uttarakhand will be eligible for the Uttarakhand JEEP entrance test.

What will happen if a candidate cannot produce the relevant certificates/documents during the time of Uttarkhand Polytechnic admission?

In a scenario where the candidates cannot furnish their relevant documents or certificates substantiating their claims, the officials will debar them from the final admission process.
