The Army Institute of Fashion and Design (AIFD) has updated the admission process for the 4-year B.Sc. programmes in Fashion and Apparel Design and Interior Design & Decoration. From 2025 onwards institute has shifted from the Written Admission Test (WAT) to the Online Admission Test (OAT). The change is evident in AIFD's endeavour to streamline and contemporize the admissions process for aspirants from all over the country. The final selection is made through the candidate’s marks of Class 10 and 12 and a strictly online interview by the Board of Officers.

The AIFD OAT 2025 selection process is divided into the following stages:
The candidates are supposed to upload their class 10 and 12 marksheets while applying. A minimum of a 50% score in classes 10 and 11 is essential for provisional admission. These academic marks/records are significant since they help formulate the merit list.
