Academic Qualification

First and Second Round of Counselling: 

• The counselling is based strictly on the combined merit list starting from Rank 1.

• For each seat, the number of students called for counselling is eight times the number of seats available. 

• The order of the counselling process is as follows: General/ ST/ SC/ OBC.

• Candidates have been given the provision to change the subjects and institutions in both rounds. 

Final Round of Counselling:

• This round of counselling is conducted in offline mode. 

• For this open round, candidates with 50th percentile scores are considered eligible. 

• If ST category seats remain vacant even after calling all the eligible ST candidates, the seats are then made available for SC category candidates and vice versa. 

• Similarly, if any of the ST/ SC seats remain vacant even after calling all the eligible ST/ SC candidates, the seats are made available for deserving General category students. 

• In case OBC seats remain vacant after allocating seats to all the deserving OBC candidates, the seats are provided to General category students. 

• In the final round, candidates are allowed to change subjects within the institution or institution only after depositing the penalty amount in the form of a DD (Demand Draft).

Spot Counselling:

• If seats still remain vacant after open counselling, the seats are filled by spot counselling. 

• The counselling is held at the respective AIIMS separately. 

• Candidates are informed via newspapers and the official website of AIIMS New Delhi.

• You must appear for a medical examination conducted by the board appointed by your respective AIIMS institute. Admission is confirmed only if you are declared medically fit.
• Once your medical fitness is approved, you can proceed to join the allotted course after paying the required admission fee within the given timeline.
• If you fail to join your assigned institute by the last date, your seat will be cancelled, and you will lose your claim over it. However, your deposited fee will be refunded as per AIIMS rules.
