Nationality

You must be an Indian citizen to apply for the AIIMS MSc Nursing 2026 entrance examination. Candidates holding foreign citizenship or OCI status are not eligible to appear for the exam.

Age Limit

  • For M. Biotechnology, other than the above-mentioned qualifications, candidates with a B.Tech in Biotechnology are also considered eligible. 
  • For M.Sc. Nursing candidates must hold a B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ Post-Basic/ B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Certificate)/ B.Sc. Nursing (4 years).
  • The degree must have been issued by a recognised university.
  • If candidates have received a degree from an educational institution, the institute must be recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. 
  • General and O.B.C. candidates must have scored at least 60% marks, whereas ST and SC candidates must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Candidates must be registered as either an RM (Registered Midwife) or an RN (Registered Nurse) with any State Nursing Council.
