AIIMS PG 2021 Counselling

The AIIMS PG 2021 counselling process will be conducted after the result declaration of AIIMS PG. Candidates qualifying in the entrance exam are called to participate in the counselling of AIIMS PG 2021. For the counselling purpose, candidates have to undergo registration and choice making the process for AIIMS institution and Postgraduate course. As part of the AIIMS PG 2021 counselling process, candidates have to report to the institution or counselling conducting authority with their original certificates. Once the documents are verified, candidates are considered eligible for AIIMS PG 2021 admissions.

Note: Candidate failing to report for any round of counselling is not considered eligible for subsequent counselling rounds.

How to Apply for AIIMS PG 2021

Candidates can find the step-wise application process for AIIMS PG 2021 

Step 1: Registration

• The first step of AIIMS PG 2021 counselling is registration.

• Candidates have to log-in using their credentials, i.e. Candidate ID and Password. Only shortlisted candidates can register themselves for participating in online counselling of AIIMS PG 2020. For counselling, candidates are required to set a new password so that they can log in to AIIMS PG counselling portal using the new password.

Step 2: Choice Making

The next step in the AIIMS PG 2021 counselling is the choice making. Candidates have to fill their preferences and click on 'Submit and Lock Choices'. Candidates are advised to print the choices they have finally submitted for future reference.

Step 3: Mock Counselling

On the basis of choices made by candidates in the AIIMS PG 2021 counselling portal, a mock allotment is done. With the help of mock allotment, candidates get a fair idea as to which institution and the programme they are likely to get admission is based on the choices and preferences filled by them.

Step 4: First Counselling (Choice Making and Seat Allotment)

In this step, qualified candidates are given a window of 24 hours to reshuffle their earlier choices or make new choices, on the basis of the result of mock allotment. Based on this, the choices of the candidates have frozen automatically on the last day and time of making new choices and accordingly the seats are allotted to the qualified candidates.

Documents to be Submitted After AIIMS PG 2021 Seat Allotment

Once the seat is allotted, candidates have to submit attested copies of the following documents:

• Mark sheets of MBBS/ MDS course

• Admit card issued by AIIMS

• AIIMS Rank letter

• Birth Certificate for proof of Date of Birth

• Degree Certificate of MBBS/ MDS

• Permanent/ provisional registration Certificate issued by MCI/ DCI/ State Medical/ Dental Council

• Compulsory rotatory internship completion certificate

• SC/ ST Certificate (if applicable)

• OBC Certificate/ Physically disabled Certificate, if applicable
