The AILET merit list will be issued separately for BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses on the official site. The merit rank is assigned depending on the aspirant's performance in the examination. The following are the factors that influence the AILET merit rank -
The candidates' AILET 2024 merit list will be compiled using the AILET scores. The candidates will be listed in descending order of their AILET score. Those with a higher score will be ranked higher than the rest of the candidates. The candidate with the highest score in the AILET will be ranked first, followed by the second-highest score.
The AILET 2024 merit list is significant since admission to the NLU - Delhi is based on this. The AILET 2024 merit list is also considered while creating the invite list for counselling. If someone receives a higher rank than others during AILET 2024 counselling, they will be given preference in seat allotment.
Applicants should try for a higher rank if they want to get into NLU Delhi or their chosen participating law institution.
The AILET 2024 invite list will be released following the AILET result and merit list announcement. The AILET 2024 invite list is a list of candidates who will be called to the counselling process by NLU Delhi.
Those who make the invite list must log in to https://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/ and apply for the counselling process. The number of candidates on the invite list exceeds the total number of seats. Admission to National Law University, Delhi is not guaranteed even if you are on the AILET invite list. To be admitted to NLU Delhi, one must achieve a high rank on the AILET merit list. Those who do not make the AILET invite list will be unable to enrol in their preferred law school.
What after the AILET 2024 Merit List?
The counselling procedure begins once the AILET 2024 merit list is announced. Those who are selected for AILET 2024 counselling through the merit list must attend the counselling rounds for admission to the law programs.
When the AILET 2024 results are announced, NLU Delhi will notify students about the admissions counselling procedure. The university will inform individuals who are chosen through email and by posting the results on its official website. Applicants who have been shortlisted for AILET 2024 counselling must complete the process, including online registration, document submission and verification, and payment of the admission fee. Soon after the counselling process, NLU Delhi will announce a provisional admission list.
Candidates will be given a time limit for admission, after which the offer of admission will be revoked. In the case of wait-listed candidates, the University will follow the same approach.
NLU Delhi will issue the AILET 2024 category-wise cutoff during the counselling procedure. AILET 2024 cutoff will be the minimum percentage that aspirants must obtain to be considered for admission.
The AILET 2024 cutoff will be determined by the university's seat intake per program, the total number of candidates, the difficulty level of the entrance examination, the university's reservation policy, and other factors. Candidates must review the previous year's cutoffs to understand past trends and projected cutoffs.

After the seat allotment process, the AILET 2024 provisional merit list will be published separately. It will have the names of candidates who have been qualified for admission to NLU Delhi.
