Important Pointer for AP POLYCET 2024 Syllabus

AP POLYCET 2024 aspirants should keep the following points regarding the syllabus in mind:

  • Paper 1 comprises Physics and Chemistry and Paper 2 comprises Mathematics sections

  • Since the syllabus of AP POLYCET 2024 is similar to that of  SSC Xth Boards, applicants can rely on the Class 10 textbooks to study and revise the chapters.

  • As per the latest changes introduced in the AP POLYCET Exam Pattern 2024, the Mathematics section will bear the maximum weightage with a total of 50 questions followed by Physics (40 questions) and Chemistry (30 questions). 

AP POLYCET 2024 Exam Pattern

The exam paper will be conducted for two hours and will consist of multiple-choice questions only. Each question will have four possible answers, one of which will be correct. A total of 120 questions will be asked, with 50 coming from Mathematics, 40 from Physics and 30 from Chemistry. Candidates will be rewarded 1 mark for a correct answer while no marks will be deducted for an incorrect answer. To mark responses on the OMR sheet, candidates will only be allowed to use a 2B pencil.

If you belong to reserved caste, you need to submit your caste certificate for AP POLYCET 2020 which must be issued by the competent authority, not before 3 years from the time of submission. However, if you don't have a recent caste certificate, you can submit the old certificate and resubmit the new certificate at the time of admission.
