The Consortium of NLUs released the CLAT 2026 notification on July 20, 2025, for admission to 5-Year Integrated Law courses and LLM courses at the participating institutes. The initial brief update outlines the CLAT 2026 application and exam date.

CLAT 2026 Notification: Exam Centres

The CLAT 2026 notification features the list of CLAT exam centres. Applicants can opt for their preferred exam cities while completing their application forms for CLAT. In most cases, the conducting body allocates them their desired exam venue. However, due to limited seat availability or other administrative reasons, the examinees may occasionally be assigned to a different location.

CLAT 2026 will be organised in more than 85 cities across India. Depending upon the total number of applications received, the conducting body can also increase the number of exam centres for CLAT 2026.

CLAT 2026 Notification: Admit Card

The CLAT 2026 notification for the CLAT admit card will be posted at least 2 weeks before the exam date. Registered individuals can download their CLAT hall tickets from the application portal, as entry to the exam hall will not be permitted without it. After downloading, if any discrepancies are found, they must promptly reach out to the help desk via email or phone.

The CLAT 2026 notification for the CLAT answer key will report the 4 sets of question booklets and 4 sets of provisional answer keys for UG and PG. It will also include specifics about the process for raising objections, the deadline, and the fee for grievance submission, among others.

If the organising committee finds the concerns reasonable, then they will issue the CLAT final answer key.

CLAT 2026 Notification: Result

The CLAT 2026 notification for CLAT results will tentatively be launched on the portal within 7 to 8 days after the examination. The intimation will communicate the percentile score, number of test takers, state-wise numbers, gender-wise data, etc. To obtain the CLAT scorecard, logging in to the online accounts through the Consortium’s website is essential.
