The FDDI AIST 2024 application form has been released on October 25, 2023 on the official website. The last date to registration is April 20, 2024 (without late fees), and with late fees, students can apply till April 30, 2024. As per the official website of the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), prospective applicants for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes can apply for multiple courses in a single admission form. The fee for the FDDI AIST 2024 application form is INR 600 for General/ OBC (Non-Creamy)/ GEN-EWS categories and INR 300 for SC/ ST/ PWD categories. If you apply after the deadline, you will have to pay a late fee of INR 800. Furthermore, you will get the window to edit/update your submitted FDDI AIST 2024 application form between May 1 and 2, 2024. However, you will not be able to edit your application form if you apply with a late fee. 

The FDDI AIST is a national-level entrance exam for admission to FDDI's undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in footwear design and manufacturing, retail and fashion merchandising, and fashion leather accessory design. The scores from the exam are used for admission to BDes, BBA, MDes, and MBA courses.

Note: Applicants will be offered a second chance to submit their online application for AIST 2024 if they are unable to do so by April 20, 2024. For this, they must pay an extra late fee of INR 400 for SC/ST/PWD applicants and INR 800 for general/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS students.

FDDI AIST Eligibility Criteria 2024

The FDDI AIST eligibility criteria specified all of the parameters that candidates must meet, such as academic qualifications and age requirements.

Detailed Application Process of FDDI AIST 2024

Applicants need to follow the steps given below to fill out the FDDI AIST 2024 application form:

Step 1: FDDI AIST 2024 Registration

To apply for FDDI AIST 2024 applicants will be required to visit the official website and click on the "Apply Online” button. Afterwards, applicants need to click on the “New User” link and provide all the details to create a registration ID.

Step 2: Fill out the FDDI AIST 2024 Application Form

Once the registration ID is created, applicants are required to select the course in which they are interested to take admission and then they will have to provide their details like personal, educational and contact details.

Step 3: Uploading of Documents

FDDI AIST 2024 Application Form — Important Instructions

• Candidates who fall under the reserved category must upload a self-attested document proof.

• Candidates who are submitting applications to multiple programmes must each pay a single fee. On the FDDI AIST registration form, they must enter the programme code in accordance with their preferences.

• If the application form is not filled out completely, it may be rejected without giving the applicant any notice.

• The same FDDI AIST 2024 application form may be used by applicants for other UG programmes in addition to those for the bachelor's degree. Candidates make use of the choice-filling option in this instance.

• First come, first served is the basis for preference. Students may be asked to take the entrance exam at a different time or location if fewer students choose that location.

• Postal submission of the FDDI AIST registration form is not accepted.
