Haryana LEET Entrance Exam 2021 Counselling

The Haryana LEET entrance exam counselling will be managed by the  Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). Once the result of Haryana LEET entrance exam is declared, candidates will have to appear for the counselling process of Haryana LEET entrance exam. Only candidates who have scored the required percentage will be selected for the counselling round. Candidates may check out all the important information regarding the counselling process from the details mentioned below or from the Admission Brochure.

The counselling will be done in three rounds, no further rounds will be conducted after the third round of counselling. Candidates will have to register themselves for the counselling round before appearing on the selected date. Besides this, candidates are recommended to pay the fee before proceeding for online counselling or their seat allotted to them may be cancelled. As per the counselling process of Haryana LEET exam, seats in the B.Tech/ B.E courses at all the Private/ Government technical institutes or state universities will be filled against 15% Rest of Haryana Quota (excluding Haryana State) up to 2nd Online Counseling. After the 2nd round of counselling, all the vacant seats under Rest of Haryana Category (RoHC) will be done General Category to all the candidates including Haryana in subsequent online counselling.

Detailed Counselling Procedure of Haryana LEET Entrance Exam 2021

Candidates who are going to appear for the counselling round should check the steps mentioned below.

  • Visit the website, https://techadmissionshry.gov.in.

  • Check out all the relevant information about institutions profile, cut off ranks, latest schedules of counselling etc. 

  • Click on “New Registration” and submit all the important information including Roll number, Details, of course, Name, the Application number, Date of Birth. 

  • Verify all the entered information.

  • Once done, you will have to register yourself with the information provided below.

    • Gender

    • Eligible for Haryana domicile

    • Category

    • Sub Category

    • Physical handicapped

    • Type of School/College

    • Location of School/College

    • ParentalAnnual Income

    • Password and Re-enter Password

    • Security Questions

    • Educational Qualification

  • You will not be allowed to submit if you have entered incorrect information.

  • After submitting, you will be redirected to a page which will preview all your entered information. If all the information is correct you may continue to next step or if you want to correct any information you may click on the “edit registration details”.

  • You cant change the information after this step.

  • Once done, candidates will be redirected to the choice filling process. 

  • Often, candidates can see their eligible choice and can erase the print from their eligible option.

  • The number of seats available in an institution's specific branch will be shown according to the eligibility/ category. He/ she will not be shown the non-availability in an institution and branch/ institute branch for which a candidate is not eligible.

  • You may click on the Fill/Modify choice and fill the Choices priority wise by clicking on add choice button (+) in the left frame. You must choose maximum options to increase the chances of getting selected.

  • You may now lock your choices.

  • Once the result is declared, you will have to login into the website. Here you will be able to know the seat allotted to you. 

  • If the seat is alloted to you, you may take a print out and take it to the allotted college on the selected date.

  • You will have to pay the fee for the first semester in order to reserve your seat at the institute.

  • You may also participate in a further round of counselling after updating your choices at the official website.

  • The counselling fee for the third round of the counselling is INR 500/- for General Category and INR 200/- for all Reserved Categories.

Reporting to the Allotted College

Once you have allotted a college, you will have to report to the college on the selected date. You need to take a print out of the provisional allotment letter from website https://techadmissionshry.gov.in.

  • You need to report to the college along with the documents/ Category Certificate/ certificates/ testimonials/ photograph/ Proof of annual parental income from all sources (in case of BC and TFW candidates)/ EWS income and asset certificate.

  • Once you have submitted the fee for the first semester, you may collect the receipt as a proof of fee submission.

  • If you don’t report to the college, you may lose the seat allotted to you.

Documents Required at the time of Counselling

All the documents which will be required during the counselling process are provided below.

  • Original & duly attested photocopy of Qualifying Examination. 

  • Latest coloured photograph (JPG file-max. 30 KB size) with pre-printed name and DOB on it. 

  • Matriculation / High School Certificate. 

  • Character Certificate. 

  • On line Entrance Test B.E./ B.Tech (LEET)-2021 Rank Card in case seat allotted in 1st and 2nd Online-Off-Campus Counseling or Merit/Rank Card prepared on the basis of percentage of qualifying examination in case of 3rd Online-Off-Campus Counseling. 

Note

  • Apart from this, candidates belonging to any of the reserved categories need to submit some additional documents including Certificate in respect of Physically Handicapped Candidates/ Scheduled Caste Certificate/ Backward Class Certificate/ Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate as a proof of their belonging category.

  • Candidates need to submit 3 sets of attested photocopies of all applicable documents/ certificates/ testimonials/ photos along with the original documents. All the original documents submitted by the candidates will be returned after the verification process. 

Private institutions shall fill 25 per cent of the seats and any unfilled online counselling seats out of 75 per cent of the seats at their own level in a fair and transparent manner that invites, prepares and displays the merit list. Candidates may check the number of vacant seats in the respective colleges while choosing their choices.
