IIAD eligibility criteria for undergraduate or bachelor-level design courses are important requirements which must be met to be eligible for this entrance. Check out more below: 

• Candidates must have passed their class 12 in any stream (Science, Commerce, Humanities, Arts) from a recognised board. 
• The minimum aggregate of 50% must be attained by the applicant who wants to apply at IIAD. 
• Moreover, students who are awaiting their class 12th results are also eligible to apply for admission at the institute.

IIAD Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry Admissions

Lateral entries are for candidates who want to join the programme in between the academic sessions. Candidates who are planning to get admitted to IIAD through lateral entry must note that this process is quite easy if they fulfil all the eligibility criteria. 

The candidate can start studying at IIAD in their second year if they have completed their first year of design diploma or degree programme from any national or internationally recognised design college. Admission will be granted to candidates based on their performance in the personal interview and portfolio presentation rounds.

Who Decides the Eligibility Criteria for the IIAD Entrance Exam?

The eligibility criteria for the IIAD entrance examination are laid down by the Indian Institute of Art & Design.
