ILICAT 2023 exam pattern is issued by the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. The exam pattern will provide insights into the format of the exam and candidates can thus prepare duly for the test.
The medium of the ILICAT 2023 exam is English. The test will be conducted to test the research aptitude, legal reasoning and comprehension ability as well as basic knowledge in various branches of Law.
There are three main sections in the ILICAT 2023 exam. Objective Paper, Subjective Paper, and Viva-Voce. In the objective paper, there are two sections. One objective section will test the English language and General Knowledge capacity, and the other one will check the knowledge in the field of Law.
The total duration of the ILICAT 2023 exam is 2 and a half hours.
There are a total of 180 questions in the ILICAT 2023 written exam.
A total of 140 questions are included in the objective section of the ILICAT 2023.
A total of 4 questions are expected in the subjective part of the ILICAT 2023.
The purpose of the subjective paper of the ILICAT 2023 exam is to test the legal writing abilities of the applicants.
The total mark of the ILICAT 2023 exam is 200, including the viva-voce.
