JCECE 2024 counselling process will commence soon after the declaration of the result. Candidates whose names appeared in the JCECE merit list will be eligible to take part in the counselling. The complete JCECE counselling schedule 2024 will be released at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. Candidates qualifying the JCECE exam will be required to participate in the interview and choice-filling process and undergo document verification before finally reporting to the allotted institute to complete the admission procedure.
JCECE counseling process will be held in three rounds. The designated institutes will host the admissions and document verification procedure. Candidates must make sure to carry the original documentation at the time of the document verification round. The distribution of seats will be based on a candidate's college preferences and JCECE 2024 result.

Step 1: Document Verification
Candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be invited to participate in counseling with the necessary documentation (original and copies that have been both self- and self-attested). Candidates must present the necessary documentation, including both the original and copies for verification.
Step 2: Course/Institute Selection
Following the document verification, candidates must choose the institute and course/stream of their choice from the list of alternatives.
Step 3: Payment of JCECE Counselling Fees 2024
Following the registration, candidates need to pay the counselling fees through net banking (RTGS) or via credit/debit cards using a swipe machine. The counselling fees are as follows
Step 4: JCECE Seat Allotment 2024
The seats are allocated by the authorities based on the candidates' preferences and merit rankings as well as the seats' availability. To confirm their admission, candidates who receive seats through the JCECE seat allotment 2024 must pay the entrance fee of Rs. 1000. The candidates must obtain their letter of provisional seat allotment and report to the designated college after paying the fees. The applicants at the designated college are responsible for paying the remaining costs.
The candidates must confirm their admittance after the seats have been assigned, otherwise, they will be required to attend the subsequent round of JCECE counseling. Candidates who are happy with their JCECE seat allotment 2024 must report to their respective institutes for document verification and tuition payment.
To attend the Interview round, candidates will have to bring the following documents (Original and Xerox copies). Candidates must make sure that their documents are valid and not forged. Applicants with invalid documents will not be allowed to take part in the JCECE counselling process.

Candidates must fill an online counselling form and also pay the counselling fee in order to participate in the JCECE 2024 counselling process. The JCECE counselling fees vary category wise. Go through the category-wise JCECE counselling fees mentioned below.

The authorities start the seat allotment process after the document verification process. Only candidates who successfully applied for the counseling process and completed the selections of college and branch will be eligible for seat allocation. When distributing seats, the JCECE board takes into account both the student's score and college preference. The JCECE 2024 seat allotment continues until every seat is occupied. Reservations that have been approved by the government are also valid for seat allocation.
If a candidate is unhappy with the seat that has been assigned to him in the first round, he may choose to upgrade his seat in the second round. The initial seat allocation will be taken into consideration as the final allocation if the seat is not upgraded in the next round. Candidates must confirm their admissions by attending the designated institute and finishing the necessary admission requirements after successful seat allocation.

Selecting a college is an important decision for student’s academics therefore before choosing, students must do well research of the colleges.
