It is important for all the applicants to check the JCECE 2020 eligibility criteria before registering for the entrance exam. Following is the eligibility criteria prescribed for appearing in the JCECE exam.
Applicant must be an Indian Citizen.
Applicant must be a Permanent and Local resident of Jharkhand.
Applicants will have to submit/show permanent or local resident certificate in a proper format, issued by the competent authority.
There is no age bar for the applicants who wish to apply for the B.Tech course. Applicants of any age group can apply for this course.
For candidates seeking admission in Agriculture and Forestry course, the minimum age should be 17 years and the maximum age is 22 years as on 1st July of the year of examination. The minimum age of the candidates should be 17 years as on 1st July of the year of the examination for Animal Husbandry [B.V.Sc. & A.H.] Course.
For Engineering Courses-
Applicants seeking admission in the B.Tech course have to qualify 12th /I.S.c or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
At least 45% of marks in the above-given subjects is a must. Applicants belonging to any of the reserved categories must have at least 40% marks.
Final year appearing applicants can also apply.
For Agriculture and Forestry Courses-
Applicants looking for Agriculture and Forestry Course will have to qualify Class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology.
Applicants appearing in class 12th exam or equivalent exam may also apply for JCECE 2020.
For BHMS Courses-
There are no minimum percentage criteria for BHMS Course.
Applicants must have cleared 12th class exam or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
For Animal Husbandry [B.V.Sc. & A.H.] Courses-
Applicants applying for Animal Husbandry [B.V.Sc. & A.H.] course must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
Applicants appearing in class 12th or equivalent exam may also apply for the entrance exam.
