The counselling schedule for KMAT 2018 exam will be declared on the official website of KMAT. Candidates who meet the cut-off scores of KMAT 2018 will be called to attend the KMAT 2018 Counselling Process. On the basis of KMAT 2018 Result, the institutes prepare final merit list featuring the names of the qualified candidates. Candidates who are listed in the final merit list will be called for KMAT 2018 counselling.
KPPGCA will conduct more than one session of KMAT 2018 counselling for all the selected candidates. The candidates who fail to attend the 1st session of counselling will not be permitted to register for 2nd and other sessions of counselling. The final selection of candidates for KMAT 2018 will be based on parameters like the score of KMAT 2018, marks of last qualifying exam and marks of the main subject scored in bachelor degree.
The KMAT 2018 counselling/selection procedure will give candidates an insight into the process followed and will also help candidates to know about important pointers that should be kept in mind while appearing for the counselling process.
The KMAT 2018 selection process will also include Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
Based on the marks obtained in the KMAT 2018, GD and PI, candidates will be allotted with seats in the various participating colleges.
At the counselling center, candidates are asked to mark and confirm their ranks based on the merit list released by KMAT.
Candidates are advised to select the counselling center carefully, as no changes will be made once the center is finalised.
Original certificates and mark sheets are to be presented at the time of counselling. Downloaded documents shall not be entertained.
The documents to be carried at the time of KMAT counselling should be self-attested. Candidates must carry documents in original and photocopies. Taking an extra set of photocopies is recommended to avoid any kind of delay at the time of counselling. The documents needed for KMAT counselling are:

Examination Certificate of 10th Board or equivalent.
Class 10th Marksheet
Class 12th Marksheet
Class 12th Provisional Certificate/Original Certificate.
Bachelor’s Degree Marksheet.
Character Certificate from the last attended university.
Caste Category (SC/ST/PWD/CW) Certificate.
Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate from last attended Board/University.
Passport size self-attested photographs(At least 2).
