About WB JEMAT 2023 (Phase II Rank Card Released)

WB JEMAT 2023: The WB JEMAT phase II rank card has been released on September 25, 2023. The WB JEMAT online application process 2023 began on September 1 and continued till September 7, 2023. The phase II examination was conducted on September 10, 2023.

The JEMAT seat allotment results for phase I were released on July 26, 2023. The WB JEMAT choice-filling 2023 ended on July 24, 2023.The choice-filling process began on July 19, 2023.The WB JEMAT rank card 2023 was released on July 19, 2023, and the WB JEMAT 2023 result was released on July 5, 2023. The phase I examination was conducted on June 25, 2023, through online mode. WB JEMAT application process 2023 for phase I was initiated on May 30, 2023, by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. WB JEMAT 2023 admit card for phase I was released a few days prior to the exam on June 25, 2023. However, WB JEMAT Phase II exam dates are not yet released but are expected soon.

WB JEMAT 2023 Conducting Body

The responsibility to conduct WB JEMAT is with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) which conducts the entrance exam on behalf of the West Bengal State Government. Candidates aspiring to get into PG diploma programs offered by various Government and Private Management Institutions in the state of West Bengal appear in the WB JEMAT entrance examination conducted every year. The PG diploma courses offered to the WB JEMAT qualified students are MHA/MBA/AICTE approved.

For the convenience of the applicants, the necessary information on the eligibility requirements is provided below.

  • Candidates from any country have the privilege to apply.
  • It is mandatory for students from Nepal and Bhutan to submit a No Objection certificate from their High Commission.
  • Foreign/NRI candidates must submit their nationality certificates.
Educational Qualifications
  • Candidates must have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/Architecture from a UGC/AICTE recognised institute with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
  • Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the final year mark sheet by September 2023.

No age limit has been specified for candidates appearing for the exam.

Candidates can fill out the WB JEMAT 2023 application form by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Go to the official website of MAKAUT @ https://makautwb.ac.in/
Step 2: Click on the Registration tab.
Step 3: Click on JEMAT in the drop-down menu.
Step 4: Provide all the required information like Name, Contact Number, Address, Gender, Category, Academic Details, etc.
Step 5: After making sure all the information filled is accurate, Click on Submit. 
Step 6: An application ID/ registration number will be sent to the registered mobile number for future login purposes.
Step 7: Candidates must pay the application fee using an online mode of payment via UPI/ Netbanking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card

WB JEMAT 2023 Admit Card

On the official website of MAKAUT, the JEMAT 2023 Admit Card will be made accessible. From the scheduled date until the day of the exam, JEMAT admit cards will be made available for download. Three sections constitute the WB JEMAT question paper, namely English, Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning. Each question carries 1 mark. WB JEMAT 2023 Result

The MAKAUT, West Bengal will announce the JEMAT 2023 results on the official website. The result will be released in the form of a score card. The details mentioned on the score card are Name of the Candidate, Roll Number, Registration Number, date of the exam, sectional score, overall score, minimum cut off marks, and exam qualifying status.

WB JEMAT 2023 Counselling

Candidates who achieve qualifying marks in JEMAT 2023 or higher will be summoned for a group discussion and personal interview when the results are released. They will then be required to take part in both online and offline counselling for final admissions. Students must submit separate applications for each college's counselling procedure. Students will show up separately for the GD/PI of each college. Each college has a different registration fee that must be paid by the candidates.

The JEMAT written exam, group discussion/personal interview (GD/PI), and counselling make up the three stages of the WB JEMAT selection process.
