KMAT Karnataka Notification 2026

KPPGCA will release KMAT Karnataka 2026 notification containing the tentative dates on the official website. The KMAT Karnataka 2026 exam will be conducted in September, 2026.  The application form will be made available in May 2026.

The official notification will provide the exam dates, detailed information on the application process, and eligibility criteria. Registrations for KMAT Karnataka 2026 will open shortly after the notification is released. The exam provides a pathway for admission to more than 189 AICTE-approved and university-affiliated management institutes across Bangalore and Karnataka. KMAT Karnataka 2026 will be conducted as a home-based online remote proctored test with a duration of 2 hours. The objective is to ensure a uniform testing experience for all candidates, maintaining the same level of difficulty across a single session.

Eligibility Criteria for KMAT Karnataka 2026

The KMAT Karnataka 2026 eligibility criteria define the minimum requirements that candidates must meet to apply for the exam. Below are the specific details for each program:

For MBA and PGDM Courses

  • The applicant should have an undergraduate degree in any field from any accredited university. 
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam; however, in the case of candidates from the reserved category, 45% marks are also valid. 
  • The applicants who have cleared their final year of the bachelor's study can also apply on the condition that they attach the degree certificates while applying for admissions.

For MCA Program

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with Mathematics as an essential subject either at the 10+2 level or graduation level. Marks of 50% minimum (45% for categories of SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying exam.

To apply for KMAT Karnataka 2026, one should follow all the steps as shown to fill out the KMAT Karnataka 2026 application form:

  • Registration: Visit the official KMAT 2026 website, and to get registered on the same using a valid e-mail ID and phone number.
  • Fill out your application form: Provide all of the requested information, from personal data to academic information and even your contact data, in the relevant sections of the form.
  • Document Upload: Attach one passport-size photograph and signature as per specifications.
  • Pay Application Fees: Fees shall be payable by Debit/Credit Card/Internet Banking Rs. 850 for Gen and OBC applicants and Rs. 750 for the applicant of SC/ST categories.
  • Finally, once the successful payment is made, download and save the completed application form for record-keeping purposes as well as for future reference.
