Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) is the conducting body of KMAT Karnataka 2023. KPPGCA was established in 2003, for providing admission in MBA, MCA, and PGDM courses in various recognized and self-financing colleges in Karnataka state. KMAT is approved by the Karnataka government. KPPGCA was formed to support vocational and professional courses and to streamline and facilitate admission to these postgraduate subjects.

All the colleges in Karnataka that offer postgraduate courses are liable to accept the score of KMAT Karnataka for admission into MCA, MBA, and PGDM. Candidates, however, should know that the score of KMAT Karnataka alone cannot confirm their admission into the postgraduate courses.
