KMAT Karnataka 2021 Syllabus

The KMAT 2021 syllabus defines the subjects and topics that must be prepared for appearing in the examination. The syllabus for KMAT 2021 mostly comprises the basic management exam pattern. The sections are almost the same as any other management exam. Sections like Quantitative Ability and Logical Reasoning are a part of KMAT 2021. A brief description of the syllabus is given below for candidates to start their preparation for KMAT 2021.

Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension

  • The questions in this section focus mainly on the candidates’ understanding of the English language and it has sub-sections based on vocabulary, grammar, synonyms, comprehension of passages, sentence completion, antonyms, etc.

  • Comprehension passage is one sub-section with questions based on an understanding of the contents of the passages and choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions, and similar language skills.

Logical and Abstract Reasoning

  • This section includes the questions to measure how quickly and accurately you can think. 

  • The section includes questions in sets as well as individual ones based on verbal reasoning, and analogy.

Quantitative Ability

  • The questions of this section are framed to know how fast and accurate a candidate can work with numbers, do numerical calculations, understand various arithmetic problems involving interest, ratio & proportion, percentage, time & speed etc. 

  • Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, and parts of mathematics based on class 10th syllabus are also a part of this section. 

  • This section consists of questions based on the power of interpretation of tables, common graphs & charts, and quantitative reasoning.
