NBE FET 2025 Eligibility

NBE FET 2025 Eligibility Criteria are released by the National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on its official website. As per the eligibility criteria of NBE FET 2025, students must secure a postgraduate degree like MD, MCh, MS, and MS in the relevant specialisation. Apart from that, applicants must be registered with the National Medical Council (NMC) or with the state medical councils. There is no age limit to appear for the NBE FET 2025 Exam. In case of foreign applicants, the NBE FET Eligibility Criteria suggests that the applicant must have a registered postgraduate degree from the respective country. The student should be a registered medical practitioner in their own country. Apart from that, the foreign applicants need to have a security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Only the candidates who meet the respective criteria should proceed with the application procedure. If any candidate is found guilty of not fulfilling any particular eligibility criteria, their candidatures get cancelled automatically.

NBE FET Eligibility Criteria 2025 for Indian Nationals

  • Students must pass a postgraduate degree like MD, MS, DM, DNB, and MCh courses in the relevant specialisation

  • Applicants who are in the final year of their postgraduate degree are also eligible to apply for the NBE FET exam

  • Students with a provisional passing certificate till December 31, 2025, are also eligible to appear for the test

  • Applicants should make sure that they are submitting all the requisite documents in the prescribed format and size by the official authority

NBE FET Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals

  • Applicants must possess a postgraduate medical qualification equivalent a recognized international university

  • It is mandatory for international students to obtain visa clearance from the Government of India

  • The qualification of the student should be a registered qualification in their own country

  • The postgraduate or specialization of the student should be a recognised qualification as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019

  • Applicants should be registered medical practitioners in their own country

  • It is mandatory for foreign students to obtain security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA)
