PESSAT 2020 Application Form

PESSAT is a common entrance exam conducted by PES University. Candidates who want to get enrolled for any of the programs will have to give this entrance exam. The application form for the PESSAT 2020 entrance exam will be uploaded on the official website of the PES University. Candidates will be able to find out all the important instructions to fill the application form of PESSAT entrance exam from the information brochure of the exam. While filling the application form, candidates will have to attach the required documents as mentioned in the prospectus. 

PESSAT 2020 application forms have been made available on the official website of PES University from October 4, 2019. Candidates who wish to appear in the PESSAT entrance examination need to fill and submit the application forms until April 17, 2020. However, candidates will have to satisfy the eligibility criteria of PESSAT 2020 before filling the application form in online mode. Steps to Fill PESSAT Application Form 2020

The complete procedure of filling the PESSAT Application form is provided below. 

Registration Process:

  • The first step for candidates involves going to the official website of PES University and clicking on the tab 'How to Apply'.

  • The next step is to enter details like Course, Name, Gender, Date of Birth and Email.

  • After providing the requisite details, candidates have to click on the 'Continue' tab.

  • Next, the candidates are prompted to either choose 'Edit' or 'Confirm' tab.

  • On confirming the information, candidates are directed to the personal details page.

Filling the PESSAT Form

  • In this step, candidates have to provide their personal details like nationality, religion, category, caste, mother tongue, blood group, citizenship, family size, place of birth, address for communication, details of parents, qualifying examination details, test centre preferences, etc.

  • After providing all the relevant information, students have to click on the 'Declaration' and ‘Submit' tab.

Uploading the Documents:

  • After carefully providing all the requisite details in PESSAT 2020 application form, candidates have to upload a scanned copy of their recently clicked passport size photograph as per the given specification.

Payment of Fees:

  • The application fee is INR 1050 for all the candidates.

  • The payment can be done in Online mode or Offline mode.

Online Mode:

  • In online mode, the application fee can be paid directly through debit card/credit card/net banking.

Offline Mode:

  • In offline mode, the candidates can pay the application fee in two ways – Challan and Demand Draft.

Challan

  • Candidates have to print both – the application form as well as the challan – and then have to take them to the bank for payment.

  • After paying the fee, candidates have to submit a hard copy of the application along with a copy of the stamped challan.

Demand Draft

  • The application fee has to be paid in favour of ‘PES University General Fund’, which will be payable in Bangalore. Candidates have to get the DD from the Bank, enter the DD number, Bank name, Branch name, Branch city name, DD date online.

  • After this, the candidates have to send the DD along with the printed PESSAT application form 2020 to the address given below:

Confirmation Page:

  • After the successful payment of application fee, candidates can take a print out of their application forms. Candidates should keep the hard copy of the application form safely for future reference.

1. I have already paid PESSAT application fee, but the PES portal says the fee is still pending, what do I do?
Send a mail to pessat@pes.edu mentioning about your issue.
2. How can I make a correction in my PESSAT application form?
To make correction or modify details in the application form, candidates can send a mail to pessat@pes.edu with the application number and details of the correction / modification that needs to be done.
3. How many chances can I take for PESSAT exam?
A candidate can take PESSAT only once.
4. When can I book my slot to take PESSAT exam for B.Tech?
The test slot bookings for B.Tech begin in April every year.
5. Is PESSAT score considered for admission at all PES institutions?
No. PESSAT scores are considered for admission into PES University institutions only.
6. I forgot my application number, how can I retrieve it?
Candidates have to visit the official website and click on ‘Register for PESSAT’ displayed on the bottom of the homepage. Candidates have to click on the ‘Forgot Application Number’ tab, enter their name, gender, email ID and date of birth to retrieve their application number.
