SSC CGL Application Form 2025

The SSC CGL 2025 registration process began on 9 June 2025, and the last date to apply was 4 July 2025. Following the closure of applications, the Staff Selection Commission opened the SSC CGL 2025 application correction window from 9 to 11 July 2025. The direct link to apply for SSC CGL 2025 is now closed.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 examination was conducted from 12 to 26 September 2025, with re-examinations held on 14 October 2025 for candidates affected by cancellations. The SSC CGL Tier 2 examinations have now been successfully conducted on 18 January 2026 (Skill Test) and 19 January 2026 (all other papers).

The SSC CGL application process consisted of Part I registration and Part II fee payment and document upload. Candidates were advised to enter details carefully, as the same information appears on the SSC CGL admit card. The SSC CGL exam is conducted annually to recruit candidates for Group B and Group C posts in various central government departments.

How to Fill SSC CGL 2025 Application Form?

To fill out the SSC CGL online form 2025, students can follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Registration

• Log on to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.gov.in.

• Click on the Exam Link displaying Part 1 Registration

• Fill in the details like Name, Educational qualification, Address, Demographic details, etc, and click on ‘Submit’.

• After registration, applicants will be issued a Registration ID for future references.

Step 2: Application

• Log in by using your Registration ID and Password (Date of Birth).

• Fill in the required details specified in the application form.

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Images

The next step involves the uploading of your scanned image of Photograph and Signature (as per the specifications).

A scanned image of Photograph and Signature must be in JPEG format. 

Step 4: Application Fee Payment

• To complete the application process, applicants have to pay the application fee.

• Applicants can pay the SSC CGL 2024 fee of INR 100 (for General candidates) either in online mode or offline mode (through SBI Challan). There is no application fee for SC/ST/Female/PH/Ex-servicemen applicants.

• Educational certificates of Class 10th, 12th, Graduation or of any other higher education.

• Valid E-mail ID

• Debit Card/Credit card to pay the application fee online

• Scanned Photograph and Signature (as per specification)

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• Documents certifying work experience

How to Check SSC CGL Application Status 2025?

The Commission will publish the SSC CGL application status 2025 most probably in the month of June to inform the status of the candidates. Refer to the steps below to check the SSC CGL application status 2025:

• Visit the SSC's official website.
• At the top navigation, look for the admit card tab given.
• Click on the regional website link that you desire
• Then click on the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 application status link on the homepage of the regional site.
• Candidates have to provide their registration number and date of birth.
