SSC CGL Application Form 2025

The SSC CGL 2025 registration process started on 9th June 2025 and the last date to apply was 4th July 2025. After the registration window closed, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) opened the application correction window from 9th to 11th July 2025, allowing candidates to make changes to their submitted application forms. SSC CGL 2025 Application Process The SSC CGL 2025 application process was divided into two parts:

• Part I- Basic registration including personal and educational details
• Part II- Fee payment and uploading of required documents

Candidates were advised to fill in all details carefully and accurately, as the same information appears on the SSC CGL 2025 admit card and other official documents. Any mistake in the application form could lead to issues at later stages of the selection process.

SSC CGL 2025 Exam Updates The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was successfully conducted from 12th to 26th September 2025 across 255 exam centres in 126 cities. A re-examination was held on 14th October 2025 for candidates whose exams were cancelled due to disruptions and malpractice concerns.

The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam has been successfully conducted on 18th January 2026 (Skill Test) and 19th January 2026 (all other papers). The SSC CGL Tier 2 Provisional Answer Key was released on 30th January 2026 on ssc.gov.in.

The SSC CGL exam is conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit eligible graduates for Group B and Group C posts across various central government departments and ministries.

How to Fill SSC CGL 2025 Application Form?

To fill out the SSC CGL online form 2025, students can follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Registration

• Log on to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.gov.in.

• Click on the Exam Link displaying Part 1 Registration

• Fill in the details like Name, Educational qualification, Address, Demographic details, etc, and click on ‘Submit’.

• After registration, applicants will be issued a Registration ID for future references.

Step 2: Application

• Log in by using your Registration ID and Password (Date of Birth).

• Fill in the required details specified in the application form.

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Images

The next step involves the uploading of your scanned image of Photograph and Signature (as per the specifications).

A scanned image of Photograph and Signature must be in JPEG format. 

Step 4: Application Fee Payment

• To complete the application process, applicants have to pay the application fee.

• Applicants can pay the SSC CGL 2024 fee of INR 100 (for General candidates) either in online mode or offline mode (through SBI Challan). There is no application fee for SC/ST/Female/PH/Ex-servicemen applicants.

• Educational certificates of Class 10th, 12th, Graduation or of any other higher education.

• Valid E-mail ID

• Debit Card/Credit card to pay the application fee online

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• Documents certifying work experience

The Commission will publish the SSC CGL application status 2025 most probably in the month of June to inform the status of the candidates. Refer to the steps below to check the SSC CGL application status 2025:

• At the top navigation, look for the admit card tab given.
• Click on the regional website link that you desire
• Then click on the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 application status link on the homepage of the regional site.
