The SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 examination has been postponed and will now be conducted in the first week of September 2025.Earlier, the CGL Tier 1 exam was supposed to be held from Aug 13-20, but due to technical failures at the end of the Staff Selection Commission, the exam has been delayed to September. The SSC CGL application process 2025 is divided into two parts: Part I is Registration, where you provide basic information. Then, there is Part II, where you need to pay the requisite application fee and upload a photograph and signature in the specific dimensions. How to Fill SSC CGL 2025 Application Form?

To fill out the SSC CGL online form 2025, students can follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Registration

• Log on to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.gov.in.

• Click on the Exam Link displaying Part 1 Registration

• Fill in the details like Name, Educational qualification, Address, Demographic details, etc, and click on ‘Submit’.

• After registration, applicants will be issued a Registration ID for future references.

Step 2: Application

• Log in by using your Registration ID and Password (Date of Birth).

• Fill in the required details specified in the application form.

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Images

The next step involves the uploading of your scanned image of Photograph and Signature (as per the specifications).

A scanned image of Photograph and Signature must be in JPEG format. 

Step 4: Application Fee Payment

• To complete the application process, applicants have to pay the application fee.

• Applicants can pay the SSC CGL 2024 fee of INR 100 (for General candidates) either in online mode or offline mode (through SBI Challan). There is no application fee for SC/ST/Female/PH/Ex-servicemen applicants.
