The SSC CGL paper analysis will give an indication of the difficulty level and the number of good attempts required by the candidates to qualify for Tier II of the SSC CGL 2021-22 examination.
The questions that were asked in the quantitative aptitude section were between easy to moderate in the difficulty level scale. The students found this section to be the lengthiest of all the sections. A few questions in this section required rigorous calculations. Most of the questions that were asked in this section were from Algebra, Average, DI, Number System, Trigonometry etc.
The English Comprehension section saw a deviation from the previous year's SSC CGL examination. This year, there was no reading comprehension which was replaced by the Cloze Test. The maximum number of questions was based on the Cloze Test which also consisted of questions of Sentence Improvement, Error Detection, Synonyms & Antonyms, etc. The overall difficulty level of this section was easy to moderate.
According to the students, the overall difficulty level of the SSC CGL Tier 2 paper was easy to moderate based on the preparation strategy employed by them during the preparatory stages. The SSC CGL Tier-II paper is being considered as one of the simplest paper with respect to recent years. All the questions were very basic while some of the questions were also based on previous year papers. Experts believe that candidates with an attempt rate between 85 to 90 in the SSC CGL 2021 Tier-II examination will have a fair chance of getting selected for the next round. Looking at the simple level of this year's exam, the chances for the candidates having attempted less than 80 questions, is quite less.
