TS PGLCET 2020 Exam Pattern

TS PGLCET is a state level entrance exam of Telangana for admissions in the postgraduate degree of Law(LLM). Students who are going to take this exam should go through the detailed TS PGLCET 2020 exam pattern, marking scheme, type of questions and time duration, etc. of the entrance exam.

With the help of TS PGLCET 2020 exam pattern, candidates will have an idea about the overall structure of the entrance exam. Candidates will be allotted 90 minutes in order to complete the TS PGLCET 2020 and candidates will have to answer 120 questions divided into two sections. The exam will be conducted on pen and paper-based mode in English and Telugu languages. Each of the two sections divided consists of several topics from Law. The core part of the syllabus is prepared with Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Crimes and Torts, IPR & Other Laws, Labour Law, Mercantile Law and Public International Law subjects. Majority of questions (20 Questions) are from Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law, while the rest of the syllabus will include 16 questions from each subject. Students are advised to check the scoring areas and topics while preparing for TS PGLCET 2020. Candidates may check the topics included in TS PGLCET 2020 syllabus.

Sectional Break-Up of Questions in TS PGLCET 2020 Exam Pattern and Maximum Marks

Both the sections are divided into sub-sections consisting of many law subjects, Part A consists of  Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law wherein about 40 questions will be asked and Part B consists of Public International Law, Mercantile Law, Labour Law, Crimes and Torts and IPR & Other Laws wherein 80 questions will be asked.

TS PGLCET Marking Scheme 2020

There will be no negative marking for any questions. Students will be rewarded one mark for each correct answer. The maximum marks that will be awarded to any student are 120 which will be given if the students attempt all questions correctly. As there are 40 questions in Part A and 80 in Part B, the maximum marks awarded to students will be 40 and 80 respectively.
