TS PGLCET (Telangana State PG Law Common Entrance Test) is a master-level law entrance examination conducted to shortlist students for the LLM course at the participating colleges. 

TS PGLCET 2025 Eligibility: Academic Qualifications

• Students must have completed an LLB/ 3-year BL or 5-year BL degree while applying for TS PGLCET.
• Those who have appeared or are slated to appear for their LLB/ BL final year examination can also apply. They can take the entrance test in expectation of results. However, such candidates must have passed the last qualifying examination during counselling.

Nationality

• Only Indian citizens will be allowed to take this exam.
• Candidates must satisfy Local/ Unreserved status requirements as determined by the Educational Institutions of Andhra Pradesh(Telangana).
• Those who qualified TS PGLCET but have completed their LLB/ 3-year or 5-year BL studies in any other state than Telangana will not be considered for admission under the Convenor Quota.
• They can apply under the National Integration Quota (NIQ)/ Management Quota if they satisfy all other conditions. 

Age Limit

• There is no upper age limit to apply for TS PGLCET.

• After applying, the candidates need to attempt the entrance examination.
• They must have secured 25% in the admission test, which is 30 marks out of 120.
• For SC/ ST applicants, no minimum marks are specified by the conducting authority.
• After achieving the qualifying marks, they need to participate in the TS PGLCET counselling process.
• Those who secure allocation must report to the designated colleges/ institutes/universities for reporting and paying the admission fee.

TS PGLCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Reservation of Seats

Here is a quick overview of the seat reservation according to the TS PGLCET 2025 eligibility criteria -

• Enrollment to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in the offered course in the Law colleges/ institutions of the State for local applicants of the OU area as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974 (as amended subsequently).
• The rest of the 15% seats shall be unreserved seats.
