AP EAMCET 2022 Result (Out)

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada has released the AP EAPCET 2022 result (preponed) on July 26, 2022, at 11 am. Candidates will be able to check the result of AP EAPCET 2022 in online mode on its official website- Previously the dates were to be released on August 15, 2022. Candidates can access the results by entering their Hall Ticket number. The scorecard will have the qualifying status, rank, and total marks secured by the candidate in the exam. Candidates who will qualify in the AP EAMCET exam 2022 will be eligible to apply for the counselling rounds. The AP EAMCET (EAPCET) result is released in the form of a rank card that includes information on the rank in order of merit obtained following the normalization procedure. Candidates should keep their AP EAPCET result 2022 safely as it will be required in counselling and AP EAPCET seat allotment.

How to check AP EAMCET Results 2022?

Even though JNTU Kakinada will conduct the AP EAMCET exam 2022, the results will be published on the official website of AP EAMCET, and the candidates can access the results through the direct link here. The candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check the results of AP EAMCET 2022:

First StepAP EAMCET Results 2022 can be accessed through the direct link mentioned on this page. The candidates can also open the APSCHE website and find the link for the AP EAMCET official website.
Second StepAfter opening the official website of the AP EAMCET 2022, click on the option that indicates results.
Third StepA new page will open now where the candidates will have to enter the AP EAMCET Hall Ticket Number, Application Number and Date of Birth.
Fourth StepAfter entering the above details, click on the option that indicates 'Check Result' or 'Submit'
Fifth StepAP EAMCET Results 2022 will be displayed on a new page. Take the printout of the same for future reference.

The rank card for AP EAMCET 2022 will be released separately, and the candidates can download the same through the official website of AP EAMCET.

Abbreviations Used in AP EAMCET 2022 Rank Card

The rank card of AP EAMCET 2022 will contain some abbreviations. It is important for candidates to know what the abbreviations stand for to understand the rank card better. The most common abbreviations are - 

  • AB: Absent

  • F: Failed

  • ND: Inter marks not available

  • NQ: Not Qualified

  • Q: Qualified

  • W: Withheld

Ranking Criteria for AP EAMCET 2022

The ranking criteria for AP EAMCET 2022 will be set by the AP EAMCET authority. The criteria ensure that no error is made during the checking, evaluation, scrutiny, normalisation, tabulation and ranking. Following are the criteria that determine the ranking of AP EAMCET 2022.

  • The ranking will be based on the AP EAMCET 2022 normalised marks and class XII marks.

  • Normalised marks scored by candidates in AP EAMCET 2022 will carry a weightage of 75% and 25% weightage will be of class XII marks. 

  • The valid subject groups for class XII marks are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB).

  • For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes, there will be no specified qualifying marks. 

Formula to Calculate AP EAMCET 2022 Normalisation Score

The formula that is used to calculate the normalisation score of AP EAMCET 2022 is -

GMS + (TAG - GMS) / (TAS - SMS) × (Marks Obtained by the Candidate - SMS)

  • TAG stands for - Top Average Global. It is the average marks of the top 0.1% of all the candidates across all sessions Together

  • TAS stands for - Top Average Session. It is the average marks of the top 0.1% of the candidates in the session in which the candidate belongs to

  • GMS stands for - (Average + Standard Deviation) of all the candidates across all sessions together

  • SMS stands for - (Average + Standard Deviation) of the session in which the candidate belongs to

Tie-Breaking Criteria for AP EAMCET 2022

In the merit list of AP EAMCET 2022, there could come a situation when two or more candidates have secured equal scores. In such cases, tie-breaking criteria are used to determine who deserves to be on the merit list. Candidates must know the criteria as this will help them in understanding the procedure of ranking better. The tie-breaking criteria for AP EAMCET 2022 are:

  • The total marks secured by the candidates in Physics 

  • The total marks secured by the candidates 

  • The total marks secured by the candidates in Mathematics 

  • The percentage of the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination

  • If the tie still persists, preference is given on the basis of the Date of Birth (DOB) of the candidates. The older candidate is given preference over the younger one

Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE)  will release the AP EAMCET cutoff 2022 online on the official website- The AP EAMCET 2022 cutoff is the minimum marks required to pass the AP EAPCET 2022 exam. The opening and closing ranks for admissions into the participating colleges of AP EAMCET 2022 will be determined by the cutoff. AP EAMCET 2022 Counselling

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur has released the AP EAMCET counselling dates 2022 on the official website The counselling process will be conducted via online mode. The AP EAPCET 2022 counselling consists of registration and fee payment, document verification and status, option entry, etc. 

Candidates are required to pay the AP EAMCET counselling 2022 fees which are INR 1200 for BC and OC candidates and INR 600 for SC/ST candidates. The AP EAMCET seat allocation for 2022 will be conducted for counselling after which candidates must show up at the designated institute to continue the admissions procedure.

What happens if I exercised options in AP EAMCET final phase counselling and didn't get seat? Is there a possibility that my previous phase allotment seat will be retained>

Dear Student,

As per the AP EAMCET rules, you cannot retain your previous phase allotment seat. There will be a Spot Round (institute level counseling round) after the final phase of AP EAMCET seat allotment where you can apply for a seat. As an alternate option, you can also apply for Management quota admission which is ongoing.

However, you don't need to worry as you will get a seat through the final phase of AP EAMCET counseling. However, it might be possible that you will be allotted colleges that accept low rank in AP EAMCET through the final phase.
