AP EAMCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses

Age Criteria

  • The minimum age limit is 17 years as or on 31st December of the year of admission and 22 years is the maximum age limit for General category applicants and 25 years for SC and ST applicants for B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (FS & T), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and B.Sc. (CA & BM) courses.

  • For pharmacy and engineering courses, applicants should have completed 16 years age as or on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limitation for these courses.

  • Applicants should have completed 17 years age as or on 31st December of the year of admission for Pharm-D course.

Nationality

  • Applicants should be a citizen of India, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

  • Applicants should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

  • Applicants should belong to Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.

Qualification Criteria

  • Applicants should have passed class 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects.

  • Applicants appearing in class 12th can also apply for AP EAMCET 2018.

  • Applicants should have passed or appearing in the final year of 12th or equivalent class from recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects as optional for Pharm-D course.

  • Applicants who have completed or appearing in Diploma in Engineering courses can also apply.

  • Diploma in Pharmacy applicants can also apply for Pharm-D course.

  • Applicants should obtain 45% marks (General category) and 40% marks for reserved category in the core subjects.

  • Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

  • The upper age limit to apply is 22 years for all applicants and 25 years in respect of SC/ST applicants as on 31st December of the year of admission.

  • Applicants should have completed 16 years age by the date of starting of admission for B.Pharma course.

  • Applicants should have cleared or appearing in the final year of the intermediate with Biology, Chemistry and Physics subjects for B.Pharma course.

  • For agriculture courses, applicants should have passed or appearing in the 12th or equivalent exam with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course given below:
