BITSAT 2019 Counselling Process

BITSAT 2019 Counselling Process will start once the BITSAT 2019 exam is conducted. In the meanwhile, you can refer to the BITSAT 2018 counselling process. 

BITSAT 2018 Counselling Process began for eligible aspirants of integrated courses offered by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS). The counselling process started on 18th June 2018, and ended on 31st July 2018. BITSAT Counselling Process starts after the declaration of BITSAT Result. Similar to 2018, there will be a total of five Iteration Rounds for the candidates who clear the BITSAT 2019 examination. To be featured in the merit list, candidates need to score marks/rank more than or equal to the cutoff set by the selection panel.

For participating in the counselling procedure for admission to over 2,000 seats in Integrated First Year Degree Programmes of Engineering and B.E. (Honours) programmes, candidates are required to register and fill up the application form. Candidates also need to apply for admissions by filling up the application form along with 12th marks and preferences of degree programmes and institution. The counselling of BITSAT 2019 will be held simultaneously for BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. Topper candidates from central or state boards have to apply separately for admission under "Direct Admission to Board Toppers".

BITSAT 2019 Counselling Procedure

The BITSAT 2018 Counselling Procedure is conducted in five rounds. Each round will end with the announcement of the result of the selected candidates. This seat allotment process is termed as lteration rounds by the exam conducting authority. Let's look at some important points related to the counselling procedure of BITSAT 2019. 

  • The candidates will be provided with the chance to choose the desired college and course against the allotted seats.
  • It is a multi-step process and requires several stages including registration of the candidates, document verification and seat allotment for all the rounds of the counselling process.
  • To register for the counselling session, candidates need to fill-in correct information in the registration form provided to them at the counselling centre.
  • Candidates must carry a set of photocopies of all the asked documents along with the original documents for document verification process.
  • The seats will be allotted only to the selected contenders and those who attend the counselling session.
  • Candidates must report at the counselling venue and must select your choice of course before you appear.

Documents Required During Counselling:

  • Original and Xerox copy of the Counseling letter.

  • Call letter - Xerox copy and Original.

  • BITSAT 2019 Admit Card

  • 10th and 12th original certificates along with two photocopies of each.

  • Rank Card or Hall Ticket/ Scorecard

  • Bank Draft

  • An original degree/provisional certificate (if you are still pursuing)

  • Caste certificate and 4-6 passport size photographs.
