Before applying for the entrance examination, the applicant should ensure the fulfillment of the eligibility conditions mentioned below. The eligibility criteria is an essential aspect of your exam cum admission process, which an applicant should satisfy. The failure in not meeting these will lead to disqualification of candidature.
There are no specific limitations to an applicant’s nationality or residential status.
Except for Non-subsidized, serving or retired defence personnel, the maximum age limit is 26 years for male and 28 years for female applicants as on 1st July, 2019.
The upper limit for applicants belonging to the SC/ST category for both male and female is 29 years as on 1st July, 2019.
Applicant should have a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university. He/she should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the same.
Applicants belonging to SC/ST categories should have an aggregate of 45% to become eligible for the examination.
Final year students are also eligible to participate provided they are successful in securing the minimum prescribed percentage according to their category.
