ISI Admission Test 2018 Exam Pattern

Candidates appearing for ISI Admission Test should know the exam pattern of the ISI Admission Test well to prepare well for the entrance exam. As per the exam pattern of ISI Admission Test, the exam paper consists of two parts - Part 1 and Part 2. For all the candidates, it is mandatory to attempt Part 1, whereas Part 2 is based on the subject/discipline selected by the candidate.

ISI 2018 Exam Pattern (Part 1)

  • Section 1 is mandatory for all candidates.

  • Candidates have 2 hours to complete Section 1

  • This section has Multiple choice/Descriptive questions in Mathematics of UG level.

  • This section carries 30 marks.

ISI 2018 Exam Pattern (Part 2)

  • Section 2 has multiple-choice/descriptive questions.

  • Candidates are given 2 hours to complete this section.

  • This section carries 70 marks.

  • For Computer Science candidates, questions are asked from Engineering Mechanics, Engineering and Technology of B.Tech level, Computer Science, Thermodynamics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Engineering Drawing.

  • For Engineering candidates, questions are asked from Mathematics and Engineering & Technology.
