ISI Admission Test 2020 Exam Pattern

Candidates appearing for ISI Admission Test should know the exam pattern of the ISI Admission Test 2020 well to prepare well for the entrance exam. As per the 2020 exam pattern of ISI Admission Test, the exam paper will consist of two parts - Part 1 and Part 2. For all the candidates, it is mandatory to attempt Part 1, whereas Part 2 will be based on the subject/discipline selected by the candidate.

The detailed ISI Admission Test exam pattern for 2020 is mentioned below:

  • ISI Admission Test 2020 will consist of two sections – Section 1 and Section 2.

  • The total exam duration for each section will be of two hours.

  • The medium of instruction will be English.

  • There will be multiple types of questions and descriptive questions in the entrance exam.

ISI Admission Test 2020 Detailed Exam Pattern

ISI 2020 Exam Pattern (Part 1)

  • Section 1 will be mandatory for all candidates.

  • Candidates will have 2 hours to complete Section 1

  • This section will have Multiple choice/Descriptive questions in Mathematics of UG level.

  • This section will carry 30 marks.

ISI 2020 Exam Pattern (Part 2)

  • Section 2 will have multiple-choice/descriptive questions.

  • Candidates will be given 2 hours to complete this section.

  • This section will carry 70 marks.

  • For Computer Science candidates, questions will be asked from Engineering Mechanics, Engineering and Technology of B.Tech level, Computer Science, Thermodynamics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Engineering Drawing.

  • For Engineering candidates, questions will be asked from Mathematics and Engineering & Technology.
