NMAT by GMAC 2023 Registration will begin from August 2023. Candidates must apply for the NMAT 2023 exam before the deadline. The deadline to complete the NMAT by GMAC 2023 application will be by October 2023. To register, students have to fill out the application form, upload scanned copies of a passport-size photograph and signature, and pay the registration fee.

NMAT 2023 registration fee is INR 2,300. Step 1: Registration

NMAT by GMAC 2021 Registration Form

  • Visit the NMAT home page and click on the Register Now link or visit register.nmat.org

  • Create an account by entering the following details

    • Name

    • E-mail Address

    • Mobile Number

    • Country

  • After registration is complete, click on the verification link sent to your Email ID.

  • The User ID and Password will also be sent to your registered Email ID.

Step 2: Application Form Filling

  • Log in on the official website with your User ID and Password.

  • You will be taken to your Dashboard where you can see all of the relevant details related to your exam, including the percentage completion of your NMAT Registration Form.

  • Click on the link to access your application form. The application form will have various tabs under which you will be required to enter your complete details.

  • Fill in all of the required information in the application form, which will include your Details, Contact Information, Academic Details, Work Experience details, etc.

  •  Make sure all of the information entered in the application form is correct and as per your documents.

Step 3: Filling School Preference

  • In the NMAT Application Form, you can select up to free 5 schools in the order of your preference.

  • GMAC will send your scores automatically to these five colleges to consider for further selection rounds.

  • If you wish to select more than 5 schools, you will be required to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200 + taxes for every additional school.

Step 4: Uploading Photograph

  • You will be required to upload the scanned image of a recent passport-size photograph in the NMAT  Application Form.
  • The photograph must be in any JPEG/ JPG/ PNG format and the maximum uploadable size limit is 1 MB.

Step 5: Selecting Exam Mode

  • NMAT is conducted over a window spanning multiple weeks. The conducting body provides you with an option to choose your exam mode and timings.

  • The available exam modes for NMAT are:

    • At Test Centre

    • Online Proctored at Home

  • The test center mode cannot be changed once you have booked your exam slot even if you Reschedule the exam.

  • However, a different test mode can be selected while scheduling a Retake.

Step 6: Paying Application Fee

  • Once all of the details have been filled in, you will be required to pay the application fee for NMAT.

  • The application fee can be paid online by using any of the available options, which include Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, Mobile Wallets, etc.

Step 7: Scheduling the Exam

  • Once the application fee has been paid, the option to Book Exam will become available in the dashboard.

  • If you have selected At Test Centre as your exam mode, you will be required to choose the Country, City, Test Centre, Date, and Time at which you wish to appear for the exam.

  • If you have selected the Online Proctored Test at Home, you will be required to fill up the My Profile selection before moving on to booking your exam Date and Time for NMAT.

The NMAT 2023 Admit Card of the candidate will be available to download from the dashboard after a candidate has booked their slot for the exam. Be careful while selecting these details as rescheduling the exam will incur additional fees.

Instructions for Filling NMAT Application Form 2023

Filling out the NMAT 2023 application form carefully is important as any discrepancy can lead to issues or even rejection of the form. Here are some important instructions to go through before getting started with the registration process:

Keep All Details Ready

Candidates will have to keep all the details ready for filling up the application such as educational qualification, Personal Contact, Mobile number, Work Experience, Programme preference, Email Id, and registered contact number. All this information must be kept ready while filling out the form for NMAT 2023.

Install Required Browser

As specified by GMAC, the NMAT 2023 application form can be filled only if the computer system/ laptop has Internet Explorer v.6.0 and above or Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. The NMAT 2023 registration will be done only if the applicant’s system supports any of the above-mentioned software.

Take Enough Time

The NMAT 2023 application form can be filled up quickly just by reading the rules and guidelines. Applicants are advised to take enough time and check the guidelines before they sit to apply. Once the applicant successfully registers himself, he can log in multiple times to fill up the application form. Candidates will have to ensure that they put in the correct information in the application form. 

Select the Relevant MBA Program

Before filling up the NMAT 2023 Application, candidates are asked to go through the list of colleges that accept NMAT 2023 scores. This can be done a week ahead of the form filling. The candidates can choose the best 5 MBA programs and institutes.

Know the Application Fee

Before applying for NMAT 2023, the applicants must first find out the NMAT 2023 application fee. GMAC prescribes the NMAT 2023 application fee for all categories of applicants along with the reserved categories. Candidates choose the mode of payment as per their choice. Applicants can pay the application fee through Debit card, Credit card, Net Banking, IMPS, UPI, and Mobile Wallets. 

Get NMAT Registration Number

The candidates must first register themselves on the official site of GMAC and get the NMAT 2023 registration number. The registration number will be sent through the mail or registered mobile number. This registration number can be used for logging in multiple times and filling up the application number.

NMAT 2023 Retake Registration Process

The steps for NMAT Retake Registration 2023 are as follows.

  1. Login to the NMAT official website with your User ID and Password.
  2. The Retake option will only be available after the exam date.
  3. Select the Retake section from the dashboard. You will be able to select a different exam mode if required while applying for a retake in NMAT.
  4. Select your preferred exam mode, date, time, and test center (if applicable).
  5. Pay the retake fees to complete the process.

The following important points must be noted when applying for a retake in NMAT.

  • Candidates are allowed a total of 3 attempts for NMAT. Hence, after the first attempt, you can apply for up to two retake attempts.
  • If you fail to appear for an exam on any of the booked slots, it will be considered an attempt.
  • A retake can only be scheduled after a gap of at least 15 days from the previous attempt.

NMAT 2023 Rescheduling Process

Once the candidates have taken the exam, they also have an option to reschedule their NMAT exam date. However, one can reschedule the exam not later than 72 hours before the scheduled test, to a different date, time, and test center. You will only be available to reschedule your exam to any of the other available slots. Additionally, there is a provision to retake the entrance exam twice apart from the original attempt. However, you will have to pay an additional fee for re-taking the entrance exam. Candidates can retake NMAT 2023 at least 15 days after the day of the original attempt.

The steps to reschedule NMAT 2023 are:

  1. Visit the NMAT official site and log in with your User ID and Password.

  2. From the dashboard, click on the Schedule Exam button.

  3. You will be presented will the available slots for the exam.

  4. Select the new date, time, and location (if applicable) for the test. The exam mode cannot be changed while rescheduling.

  5. Pay the NMAT rescheduling fee by using any of the available modes in the dashboard.

NMAT 2023 Application Process for Test Takes with Disabilities

NMAT 2023 test-takers having a disability require avail special provisions, which may range from extra time during testing to permission to bring your scribe or personal care assistant. The application process for candidates who require any such arrangements is mostly the same as that described above except for a few changes that have been given below.

  • Select "Yes" in the "Are You Differently Abled" section of the registration form.

  • Select the type of disability from the dropdown menu and upload the required supporting documents, which may include:

    • Disability Certificate

    • Scribe  Consent Form and Scribe Non-Disclosure Agreement

    • Personal Care Assistant Consent Form and Non-Disclosure Agreement etc.

  • You will be able to upload multiple documents, if necessary, in the application form and also submit any additional information.

  • The conducting body will take about 15 days (or more during peak periods) to assess your request and the response will be sent to your registered Email ID.

  • Once the request has been approved, you will be able to book your slots after completing the fee payment.

  • If the request is denied, you will be informed of the same and you will be allowed to continue booking a slot for the standard exam.

  • The conducting body may also contact you requesting additional information to help them in their decision.

  • You may also submit a request for reconsideration but GMAC reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the same.

NMAT 2023 Application Form Correction

Applicants should note that they can change all information in the NMAT 2023 Application Form except their Email ID, Mobile Number, Date of birth, and Address Details. Here are the steps for NMAT 2023 application form correction:

  • Go to the official website of NMAT 2023.
  • On the 'Homepage' of NMAT, click on the tab "Test Takers".
  • After that, you will be redirected to a new page, click on the ‘Form Correction’ link.
  • Fill in the credentials and login to the official website such as username and password
  • After successful login, edit the required fields.
  • Click on the 'Submit' tab.
  • Save your corrected form for future purposes.
