How to Apply for NMAT by GMAC 2018

NMAT by GMAC 2018 registration process has started from 3rd July 2018 in online mode. To fill the NMAT 2018 application form, interested candidates have to visit the official portal of NMAT (www.nmat.org.in) before the last date of registration, i.e. 3rd October 2018. Before applicants decide to schedule a test date and location for taking the NMAT by GMAC exam, applicants must register and pay for the same.

The application process of NMAT by GMAC 2018 consists of various steps such as registration as a new user, filling NMAT by GMAC 2018 application form, uploading the photograph, payment of the application fee and submission of NMAT by GMAC application form. Essentials for NMAT by GMAC 2018 Registration

Candidates must have the following pre-requisites for registration of NMAT by GMAC 2018:

  • Mark-sheets or Degree Certificates

  • A valid E-mail address and Contact details

  • A recent Photograph (as per prescribed size and format)

  • A desktop computer or laptop and good internet connectivity

Steps to Fill Application Form for NMAT by GMAC 2018

By following the steps given below, candidates can fill the NMAT by GMAC application form 2018:

Step 1: New Registration

The first step to fill the NMAT by GMAC 2018 application form is to register by visiting the official website of NMAT by GMAC, i.e. nmat.org.in. For registration, applicants have to enter applicant name, country, mobile number, Email ID and a password. After submitting the details, a window will appear stating NMAT account details.

Step: 2 Filling NMAT by GMAC 2018 Application Form

After registering, applicants have to enter their basic details such as, Name, Gender, DOB, Category, Citizenship, Parents’ name, ID proof, Mobile number, Email ID and click on ‘NEXT’ tab.

Step: 3 Uploading the Photo

To proceed further, applicants have to upload passport size photograph in the photo section. Applicants must note that the photo should be clear and in .jpg format.

Step: 4 NMAT by GMAC Application Fee Payment

To complete the registration process, applicants have to pay NMAT by GMAC 2018 application fee in online mode by using:

  • Visa or Master Card Credit Card/ Debit Card

  • Net Banking

  • Mobile Wallets.

  • American Express Card/ Diner Card

  • IMPS

  • UPI

Step 5: Submission of NMAT by GMAC  Application form

After filling the complete NMAT by GMAC application form, applicants must cross-check all the details filled in the application form to avoid errors in the hall ticket. Once the application form is submitted, the registration number for NMAT by GMAC is displayed.

Step 6: NMAT by GMAC  Exam Schedule

In this step of the registration process, a unique NMAT by GMAC Registration ID is generated and sent through the registered Email ID of the applicants. With the help of this NMAT by GMAC registration ID and password, applicants can login into their NMAT by GMAC account by visiting the official website and can schedule the exam and download the NMAT by GMAC admit card 2018.

NMAT by GMAC 2018 Application Form Correction

NMAT by GMAC 2018 application correction form is available in the month of July 2018 and the window for editing mistakes in the application form goes until the 2nd week of December 2018. This facility can be avail by only registered applicants in all aspects i.e. Payment of  Examination Fee and Submitted Online.

Applicants should note that they can change all information in the NMAT by GMAC 2018 application form except in Email ID, Mobile Number, Date of birth and Address Details.

Steps for NMAT by GMAC Application Form Correction

  • Go to the official website of NMAT by GMAC 2018.

  • On the 'Homepage' of NMAT by GMAC click on the tab "Test Takers".

  • After that, you will be redirected to a new page, click on ‘Form Correction’ link.

  • Fill in the credentials and login to the official website such as username and password

  • After successful login, edit the required fields.

  • Click on 'Submit' tab.

  • Save your corrected form for future purpose.

NMAT by GMAC 2018 Scheduling Process

Once the applicants have taken the exam, they have an option to reschedule NMAT by GMAC exam in between July 3 to December 14, 2018. However, one can reschedule his/her exam not later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled test, to a different date, time and test centre. For this, applicants have to pay an additional fee via credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express) only.

Retakes: Additionally, applicants must note that there is a provision to retake the entrance exam twice apart from the original attempt. However, an applicant will have to pay an additional fee for re-taking the entrance exam.

Note: Candidates can retake NMAT by GMAC 2018 after 15 days of the original attempt.

FAQs

1. Can a test taker edit his/her registration application post registration payment?

Test takers will be able to edit only certain sections like School Preference and Communication Preferences in their registration form after submitting the registration fee. Test takers are advised to check the information entered in the online registration form very carefully while registering and once again before submitting the registration as they will not be allowed to make any changes after submission.

2. If a test taker is not able to register online for the NMAT by GMAC due to the following error message - "JavaScript Error". What should he/she do?

He/she should use Internet Explorer v.6.0 and above, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

3. What is the difference between Registration and Scheduling?

Registration means filling the online application and making the requisite payment on www.nmat.org.in to be able to take the exam. Scheduling means test takers scheduling their test for a certain date, time and center.

4. Can a test taker take the exam over two consecutive days?

No, a test taker cannot take the test on two consecutive days. The test taker will be required to wait for 15 days before he/she can appear for the retake test. 

5. Can the test taker reschedule the test for later in the day?

No, the test taker cannot reschedule the test for the same day.
