DO NOT Pick Up New Topics

If you have not been able to cover a topic from the syllabus, now is not the time to pick it up. Starting a new topic now can cause confusion and since there will not be enough time to complete it, it may even be detrimental to the performance in the exam. Being stuck on a question that you have half-knowledge of can not only waste your time in the exam but also cause a loss of confidence and anxiety.

Focus On Strengths

Instead of venturing into unknown avenues, this is an excellent time to focus on your strengths. Make sure that you know 100% of the topics you are confident in even if that means giving less time to some other topics. Remember, the exam is not only about how much you know but also about how quickly and accurately you are able to use your knowledge under the pressure of limited time.

Keep Taking Mocks

Practicing with TISSNET 2022 Mock Tests as well as Previous Year Question Papers is important in the last few days of the exam. Time yourself and form a strategy of how you will approach the TISSNET 2022 question paper while practicing at home. Analyze the best strategy, re-verify your knowledge of basic concepts, check your speed & accuracy -- there are nothing but benefits of practicing in the last few days of preparation. However, do not overdo it as that might result in burning out.

TISSNET 2022 Section-Wise Last Minute Tips

Here are the last-minute tips to prepare for each section in TISSNET 2022.

English Proficiency

English can be a good scoring section in TISSNET 2022, especially for the candidates who practice reading and writing regularly. Make sure you get up-close and personal with the rules of grammar while also covering other important topics such as Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Idioms & Phrases, Word Analogies, Para jumbles etc.

General Awareness

Having 40 questions, the General Awareness section carries the maximum weightage in TISSNET 2022. Hence, it is a very important section that should be a centre-focus for every candidate appearing for the exam. Candidates who are regularly in touch with news, current affairs and recent developments at the national and international stage stand to do well in this section. Develop a good knowledge of topics related to India's economy, social movements, authors, discoveries, festivals, etc. apart from studying static GK. However, spend more time revising and touching the subject generally in the last few days. Do not try to cram as much as possible as that may backfire.

Maths and Logical Reasoning

Having good calculation skills, knowledge of basic concepts, formulas while also keeping a couple of tricks up your sleeve is the mantra for success in this section. Make sure that you are well-versed in all of the basic topics including Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, etc. Having a good knowledge of these will help you in calculations and problem-solving in many other topics such as SI and CI, Time Speed & Distance, Time & Work, etc. Also, practice reasoning tricks and topics such as Blood Relation, Puzzles, Coding-Decoding, etc.

These were some of the best tips to make your last-minute preparation for TISSNET 2022 a success. Be prepared, stay confident and keep a relaxed mind! Best of luck!
