The application form of UPSC ESE 2019 has been made available on the official website of Union Public Service Commission from September 26, 2018. The last date to submit the application form is October 22, 2018. The UPSC ESE 2019 (Preliminary Examination) is scheduled to be conducted on January 6, 2019. Candidates planning to take the entrance exam may apply online for the UPSC ESE 2019. There are few steps that can help 2019 aspirants apply for UPSC ESE 2019.
Go to the official website of Union Public Service Commission.
Click on the tab ‘Apply Online’.
Fill in the required details (name, age, educational qualifications, nationality, date of birth, contact number, e-mail id, etc.) in the form.
Read the instructions given before filling in the details.
Click on the registration link and register yourself for both the parts (Prelims and Mains).
Read all the information carefully to avoid mistakes and getting debarred from the examination.
Upload the required documents along with a scanned copy of your photograph and signature in less than 40KB (but not less than 3kb) file size.
You will be required to pay the application fees in the first part of the registration form.
The application fees for General Category and OBC is INR 200. Whereas the fees for female candidates and reserved categories like SC/ST/PH has been exempted.
Fill the Part-II form before clicking on the submit button.
Submit your application form and keep a copy of it for future references.
Note: On successful completion of your complete application, an auto-generated email will be sent to you on your registered email-ID. In case you do not receive the email, please check that submission of the second part of the application has been done properly by you.
1. How to prevent rejection of the form?
Your form can get rejected if the information mentioned or the photograph format does not match the requirements of the examining body. Cross-check these things at least twice to prevent rejection of the form.
2. Why is it important to provide contact number and email address?
A valid contact number and email ID should be provided in order to avail information sent from the University.
3. What details are mentioned on the e-admit card?
The UPSC ESE 2019 e-admit card will have candidate’s name, roll number, date, time and exact location of exam centre. It is important to carry this e-admit card at the time of examination as the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without the e-admit card.
4. Is it important to keep the UPSC ESE 2019 admit card after the entrance exam is over?
Yes, it is important to keep the admit card safe after the examination as it will be required at the time of admission. There will be no duplicate admit card available in case the student misplaces it.
5. Is offline mode of payment available?
No, offline payment mode is not available. There are different ways of online payment. Please read the instructions in the payment option carefully.
