How to Apply for UPSC ESE 2020

The application form of UPSC ESE 2020 has been made available on the official website of Union Public Service Commission from September 25, 2019. The last date to submit the application form was October 15, 2019. The UPSC ESE 2020 (Preliminary Examination) is scheduled to be conducted on August 9, 2020. Candidates planning to take the entrance exam may apply online for the UPSC ESE 2020. There are a few steps that can help 2020 aspirants apply for UPSC ESE 2020.  

  • Go to the official website of Union Public Service Commission.

  • Click on the tab ‘Apply Online’.

  • Fill in the required details (name, age, educational qualifications, nationality, date of birth, contact number, e-mail id, etc.) in the form.

  • Read the instructions given before filling in the details. 

  • Click on the registration link and register yourself for both the parts (Prelims and Mains).

  • Read all the information carefully to avoid mistakes and getting debarred from the examination. 

  • Upload the required documents along with a scanned copy of your photograph and signature in less than 40KB (but not less than 3kb) file size.

  • You will be required to pay the application fees in the first part of the registration form. 

  • The application fees for General Category and OBC is INR 200. Whereas the fees for female candidates and reserved categories like SC/ST/PH has been exempted.

  • Fill the Part-II form before clicking on the submit button.

  • Submit your application form and keep a copy of it for future references. 

Note: On successful completion of your complete application, an auto-generated email will be sent to you on your registered email-ID. In case you do not receive the email, please check that submission of the second part of the application has been done properly by you.
