One of the most important things that candidates should do before applying for the entrance exam is to check the eligibility criteria of UPSC ESE 2020. The conditions to become eligible to take the exam may include age limit, nationality, educational qualifications, reservation policy, etc. The eligible candidates should be aware of the documents that they have to submit. In case the candidate fails to fulfil the eligibility criteria, he/she by any means will not be entertained by the authority. Candidates must have an Engineering Degree acquired from a recognised college or university.
Candidates with M.Sc degree in Electronics, Wireless Communication and Radio Physics can apply for selected posts in IES (Indian Engineering Services).
Applicant must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who has come to India before 1 st January, 1962.
It is important for candidates to know that, the certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India is a must for Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan and other migrated candidates.
The age limit of the candidates must not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years.
