AEEE is a national level examination that takes place every year for the aspirants of undergraduate engineering courses. Amrita University will soon release the AEEE 2021 Exam Pattern for the aspirants appearing in the examination. The examination will be organised in CBT(short for Computer Based Test) mode.
The exam pattern will help candidates to understand the structure of the question paper highlighting the number of questions, the total number of questions, marks per section, total marks, mode of examination, the time duration of the examination, marking scheme, etc. Through the AEEE 2021 exam pattern, candidates get a fair idea about the overall format of the exam structure and as well as AEEE 2021 Syllabus.
Applicants who will qualify the JEE Main 2021 can also apply for the admission and they will be exempted from appearing in AEEE 2021 examination. These applicants will be given admission through the valid JEE Main score. In order to help applicants to understand the pattern and structure of the paper, we have explained the details of the exam pattern of AEEE 2021.
Amrita University conducts AEEE in computer-based mode.
The medium of language for conducting the exam is English.
Multiple types of questions (MCQs) are asked in the entrance exam.
The total duration of the exam is 2 hour 30 minutes.
The total number of questions in the exam is 100 i.e Physics – 30, Chemistry – 30, Mathematics – 40).
The total marks of the exam are 300 i.e Physics – 90, Chemistry – 90, Mathematics – 120.
3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
No marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted or unanswered questions.
Online (Computer-based) mode – For online mode, applicants will have to mark their responses on the computer.
The total duration for the online mode exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Applicants must reach their respective exam centres on time.
No student will be allowed to leave the exam centres before the end of the exam.
The question paper will consist of three subjects:

Chemistry
Mathematics

Applicants will be awarded 3 marks, for every correct response.
