AEEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of AEEE 2019 is prescribed by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (popularly known as Amrita University). AEEE 2019 eligibility criteria takes various factors into consideration such as age criteria, academic qualification, and marks required to apply for AEEE 2019. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted in online mode from 22nd to 26th April 2019 in 3 Slots per day and for the offline AEEE 2019 will be held on 27th April 2019 only in Tamil Nadu. It is important for the applicants to check the AEEE 2019 eligibility criteria before applying for the AEEE 2019 exam.

Applicants applying for AEEE 2019 will have to satisfy the eligibility norms of AEEE 2019 prescribed by the admission authorities. Applicants who do not meet the required eligibility criteria will not be allowed to take the exam. Through this examination, applicants can get admission in undergraduate engineering programme offered by its other campuses situated at Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Chennai.

  • Indian national and Foreign national candidates are eligible to apply.

Age limit:

  • Applicants whose date of birth, as per school records, falls on or after July 1, 1998, will be eligible for AEEE 2019.

Educational Qualification:

  • Applicants must have cleared class 12 exam or equivalent examination from any recognised board.

  • Those appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2019 can also apply for admission.

Subject Combination:

  • Applicants should have passed Class 12 examination and should have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Minimum Marks:

  • Applicants must have secured an aggregate of 60% in the qualifying examination.

  • In each of the subjects that are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics candidates must have secured not less than 55%.

No, you cannot apply for AEEE if you are a diploma holder.

Yes, you can apply for AEEE. However, you should be born on or after July 1, 1998.

4. If I am biology student but I have studied Physics & Chemistry, can I apply for AEEE? Which courses will I be eligible for?

No, for B.Tech programmes you need to have studied mathematics along with physics and chemistry. Biology must be studied by candidates intending to pursue the bachelor of pharmacy
