AIFD WAT 2024 result was declared by the Army Institute of Fashion & Design on its official website on April 22, 2024. Candidates can check out the result PDF for the selected list of students. Check out the direct PDF link of the result below:

The result is accessible on the admission portal of the official website and candidates have to just tap on the result link. They are not required to log in.  The result PDF will include the list of shortlisted candidates. Qualified students have to register for admission by paying the fees which include institute fees of INR 10,000 and hostel fees of INR 5,000. The fee payment has to be made online either through NEFT or the RTGS mode. How to Check AIFD WAT 2024 Result?

The AIFD WAT results can be checked online on the official website by following the below steps:

• Step 1: Land on the official website of AIFD. 
• Step 2: Click on the ‘AIFD WAT 2024 result’ link provided on the homepage. 
• Step 3: After tapping on the result link, enter the valid login credentials. 
• Step 4: Submit and the result will be displayed on the screen. 
• Step 5: Candidates are also advised to verify, save and download the result for future preference.

AIFD WAT 2024 Selection Process

According to the AIFD, there is no specified selection process. Students will be selected for the undergraduate courses BSc FAD and BSc IDD based on their entrance exam scores and the design aptitude test. Candidates selected in the final merit list are required to report to the institute with original documents.

AIFD WAT Merit List

The merit list of the AIFD WAT exam is framed depending on the entrance exam scores of the appearing candidates. The shortlisted students have to pay the registration and hostel fees within the time slab of 7 days of publishing the results. 

As mentioned above, the registration and hostel fees of INR 10,000 and 5,000 respectively need to be paid either through RTGS or NEFT. It must be noted that no cheque or cash will be accepted by the admission authority. They also have to email aifd@awesindia.edu.in with the transaction number and other candidature details for confirmation. A final list of admissions will be released by AIFD after the receipt of the registration fee from the willing candidates is received by the conducting body.

AIFD WAT 2024 Result - Important Details

There are some pointers that applicants of the AIFD WAT exam have to keep in mind about the result. Refer to the below points:

• The final admission list will be released by AIFD on the date which is not announced yet. It will be made official after the eligible candidates deposit the registration fee. The payment should be done through a crossed-demand draft in favour of the “Army Institute of Fashion & Design” payable at Bangalore.
• Qualified candidates need to deposit the course registration fee of INR 10,000 and INR 5,000 for the hostel. It must be paid before the said date (not announced yet) through NEFT/ RTGS transfer.
• The admission fee must be paid within 10 days from the date of declaration of AIFD WAT result 2024. The registration fees will be adjusted during the admission with the first fee instalment.
• The merit list will be framed based on the performance of the candidate in AIFD WAT 2024. The final merit list will be released after the registration fee is paid by the eligible candidates. By this candidates will be granted admission to their preferred courses based on the merit list.

What after the AIFD WAT Result 2024 and Merit List declaration?

Candidates who made it to the final merit list need to be aware of what happens after the selection. Check out the below pointers to know more:

• Selected candidates will be given proper instructions after the result is declared. 
• The candidates who have been selected in the final merit need to pay the remaining fee before the last date. 
• Candidates must report to the AIFD as per the admission schedule laid by the conducting body. 
• Classes at AIFD are speculated to begin in the first week of July 2024.

Documents To Be Submitted At The Time Of Admission At AIFD

Students who qualify for the AIFD WAT exam have to submit various documents at the time of admission. Check out the documents below:

Students must have pursued the same course combination for the two years (XI and XII). The ones who don’t have original certificates will be able to sit for provisional admission to the college. However, they have to present a letter from their institution head stating the fact. It is required to be done within 15 days of the provisional admission. If a candidate fails to produce the original documents their admission will remain cancelled by the college authorities.
