The AP LAWCET 2022 was held on July 13, 2022, and offers admission to law courses in Andhra Pradesh. AP LAWCET 2022 Exam Pattern

The test is developed to evaluate the candidate's general knowledge, mental ability, current affairs knowledge, and aptitude to study law.

  • The Test is divided into three sections. 
  • The total number of AP LAWCET questions will be 120, and the test will last 90 minutes. The maximum possible score is 120.
  • Part A having General Knowledge and Mental Ability will consist of 30 questions worth points each.
  • Part B having Current Affairs will consist of 30 questions worth 1 point each.
  • Part C having Aptitude for the Study of Law consists of 60 questions worth 1 point each.
  • Part-C questions require fundamental knowledge of the basic concepts of the law and the Indian Constitution.
  • The question standard expected for a five-year law course is of intermediate level, and for a three-year law course is degree level.
  • There is no penalty for wrong responses.

AP LAWCET Cutoff

The AP LAWCET cut-off 2022 is determined by the college of law, the courses chosen by students, and the marks obtained in the entrance exam. The cut-off scores will be released separately by the participating colleges. It will depend on the total number of candidates who took the admission exam and the number of aspirants who cracked the exam. The exam difficulty, reservation criteria, and the total seats will also impact the AP LAWCET cutoff.

AP LAWCET 2021 Qualifying Marks / Percentage

The qualifying marks in AP LAWCET-2022 is 35% for General Category candidates. They need to score at least 42 out of 120 to pass the exam. For the SC and ST category aspirants, there will be no minimum grades for ranking.
