Candidates must check the list of documents required for AP POLYCET counselling. The detailed counselling process for AP POLYCET 2026 explains to the candidates the important steps, which will ensure that the candidates do not get confused about what to do once they are called up to participate:

Step 1: Online Registration

To participate in the AP POLYCET web-based counselling, the candidates have to register themselves for the same. For registration purposes, the candidates have to visit the official AP Polycet website and go through all the instructions before initiating the process of online registration. In this step, the candidates are required to create a password for all future activities. Through the account created by the candidates in this step, the candidates are informed regarding the seat allotment and other important things by the authorities. 

Step 2: Uploading of Certificates

This year, the candidates have to upload the certificates online. The candidates must upload the scanned PDF of the following documents:

• EWS certificate valid for the year 2026-27 for eligible OC candidates

• Caste certificate submission for BC/SC/ST candidates 

• Income certificate 

• Region of study details(AU, SVU etc)

Step 3: Entry of Options/Option Entry

This is the most important step in the AP Polycet counselling process. In this step, the candidates will have to fill out their choices via the available online method. It is mandatory for the candidates to take a printout of the option filling form after submitting their preferences. 

Step 4: Seat Allotment

The seat allotment process will begin as per the schedule mentioned on the official website of AP POLYCET. Various factors such as the category of the candidates, choices filled by the candidates, and the position of the candidates in the merit list will be taken into consideration by the concerned authorities before they finalise the seat allotment. The candidates can check the seat allotment status of the AP POLYCET 2026 by logging into the student’s account page. After the seat allotment is over, the candidates will be issued with provisional allotment letters which must be downloaded by the candidates for future use. 

Step 5: Reporting & Fee Payment

After the candidates are allotted seats, they have to download the provisional allotment letter within the stipulated time period and have to report to the Institute where they have been allocated seats. The candidates have to, first of all, report online and then physically report at the Institute allocated to them. The candidates must be aware of the fact that they need to report both online and physically at the allocated Institute, failing to do so will lead to the cancellation of the seat allocated to them.

Here are the steps that the candidates must follow in order to download the AP Polycet 2026 provisional allotment letter:

• The Provisional Seat Allotment letter for AP Polycet 2026 will be updated on the official AP Polycet website.

• The candidates have to enter the valid details on the student's login page such as Hall Ticket number, ICR Form Number, Date of Birth and Password and press the Submit button.

The spot round seat allotment process will be conducted by the authorities if a certain number of seats remain to be filled after the Web-Based counselling rounds conclude.
