Delhi CET Counselling Process 2020

The Delhi CET 2020 counselling process is expected to commence during the last week of June month in the year 2020. Through the counselling process for Delhi CET 2020, the shortlisted eligible candidates will be granted admission into their desired Polytechnic programme in one of the Delhi CET 2020 participating colleges. The Department of Training and Technical Education (DTTE) Delhi will conduct the 2020 counselling process for Delhi CET. 

The Delhi CET 2020 counselling process will be carried out in multiple rounds and in case any seats are left vacant at the end of all the counselling rounds, an additional counselling round will be conducted. Candidates who will clear the Delhi CET 2020 entrance exam with the desired Delhi CET 2020 cutoff marks and register for the counselling rounds will be invited by the counselling authorities to take part in the same. The candidates have to fill in their choices during the counselling rounds itself. 

The Delhi CET 2020 counselling allotment result is expected to be released by the authorities tentatively during the last week of June month itself. After the conclusion of the counselling rounds, the candidates have to submit the admission fee which will round up the admission process. Step by Step Counselling Process for Delhi CET 2020

Check out the detailed step by step counselling process for Delhi CET 2020 given below:

Step 1: Processing Fee Payment

The candidates have to submit a non-refundable amount of 700 (+ additional charges) rupees via any of the available online modes. Post fee submission, the candidates have to take a printout of the fee receipt confirmation page to be used for future purposes.

Step 2: Registration

The candidates have to proceed with the registration after they successfully submit the processing fee. For registration, the candidates need to have a valid identity proof handy with them along with all the marksheets and important documents (caste certificate etc). To complete the registration process, the candidates have to enter their valid Delhi CET 2020 credentials as well. Once the candidates complete the registration process, an automated generated slip will be issued which will display their registration status and eligibility on it. 

Step 3: Choice-Filling

All the eligible candidates can enter the course and institute of their choice in this step with the help of their Delhi CET 2020 candidate credentials such as roll number and password. The chances of getting selected in an institute or programme will depend on how many choices the candidates will enter. 

Step 4: Provisional Seat Allotment Release

The provisional seat allotment result for Delhi CET 2020 will be released by the officials tentatively during the last week of June month in 2020. To access the seat allotment result, the candidates have to visit the official website and use their CET credentials like roll number and password. If the provisional allotment matches with the choices filled by the candidates, then they should download/save the same. The seat allotment will be carried out on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the CET and choices filled by them during the choice filling round. 

Step 5: Payment of Partial Institution Fee

Those candidates satisfied with the allocated seats should submit the partial admission fee within the mentioned timeline mentioned on the provisional seat allotment letter.

Step 6: Document Verification

In this step, the candidates have to get their documents verified to successfully complete their enrolment process. Once the documents submitted by the candidates are completely verified, the Institution will release a “Document Verification Report” to the candidates.

Step 7: Final Payment of Institution Fee

In this step, the candidates have to submit the remaining Institution fee after which they will be allowed to download the final seat allotment letter. The seats of those candidates will be forfeited who will not submit the remaining Institution fee within the mentioned last date.

Note

  1. After the conclusion of each round of the Delhi CET 2020 counselling process, the candidates will be provided with two options - to freeze the seat allocated to them or pass it on. If the candidates are satisfied with the allocated seats, then they have to go for the “Freeze” option and carry out the requisite steps to complete the admission process. 

  2. Those candidates not satisfied with the seats allocated to them can wait until the beginning of the next round of Delhi CET 2020 counselling process and participate in it for their desired seats.

Spot Counselling Round of Delhi CET: After the conclusion of all the rounds of the counselling process, the leftover seats will be displayed on the official website and a spot counselling round will be conducted to fill those up. The candidates have to carry with them a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 6000/- in favour of DKDF, Delhi along with all the other important documents.

Documents Required During Delhi CET Counselling Process 2020

The candidates must carry the following documents during the verification rounds of the Delhi CET 2020 counselling process:

  • Admit card of Delhi CET 2020

  • Qualifying examination certificates and marksheets

  • Provisional seat allotment letter

  • Receipt bearing the partial payment amount of the Institution fee

  • Coloured copy of the choice filling form

  • Copy of the online registration slip

  • Certificate stating the category of the candidate (if applicable)

  • Certificate of fitness

  • Character certificate

  • Recent coloured passport-sized photographs (2 X Nos.)

  • Transfer certificate (if required or applicable)
