Delhi CET Seat Allotment 2020

Delhi CET 2020 counselling process is conducted by the Department of Training & Technical Education (DTTE) by the Government of NCT of Delhi. Admission basis the counselling determines the seat allotment to government colleges in Delhi basis the Common Entrance Test. Also known as the Delhi Polytechnic examination, the Delhi CET exam offers admission to full-time diploma courses in the fields of engineering, technology, pharmacy, etc. These scores are accepted for admission by various government & private polytechnic colleges of Delhi. 

Allotment of seats to the qualified candidates of Delhi CET will be done once they participate in the counselling process only. The eligible candidates will be allocated seats in their desired programme and institute only after they successfully complete this process. 

DTTE conducts 5 different tests under CET for different programmes. The eligibility criteria varies from course to course. Interested candidates can check their eligibility for the test for which they will be appearing. 

Note** - Only Indian / sponsored candidates will be eligible for admission

Within the ambit of seat allotment process for Delhi CET, students need to follow the following steps:

  • Initial stages of the 2020 Delhi CET seat allotment process - a provisional seat allotment list will be released by the Department of Training & Technical Education by the Government of NCT of Delhi.
  • Final seat allotment letter - to the candidates will be issued on the basis of the preference entered by the candidates during the choice-filling round. 

 

 

How to Check Seat Allotment Result of Delhi CET 2020

With the help of the following steps, the candidates can check the seat allotment result of Delhi CET 2020:

  1. Go to the official website of Delhi CET 2020 - www.cetdelhi.nic.in

  2. Click on the “Registered Candidate” tab 

  3. Enter all the valid CET 2020 credentials such as roll/registration number, password etc in the respective text boxes

  4. After successfully logging in, click on the “Seat Allotment List” link

  5. Click on the link that says - Provisional Allotment Letter

Post Seat Allotment - Delhi CET 2020

After checking the provisional seat allotment list, the candidates will be provided with two options - to freeze the seat allocated to them or pass it on. If the candidates are satisfied with the allocated seats, then they have to go for the “Freeze” option and carry out the requisite steps to complete the admission process. Such candidates will have to first get their documents verified followed by the payment of the remaining institution fee. 

Those candidates not satisfied with the seats allocated to them can wait until the beginning of the next round of Delhi CET 2020 counselling process and participate in it for their desired seats.
