IRMASAT exam pattern 2025 has been prescribed by the Institute of Rural Management Ananda (IRMA). The institute will conduct a Written Ability Test (WAT) instead of IRMASAT for the 2025 session. The total duration of the WAT examination conducted for IRMA admissions will be 30 minutes. The IRMASAT entrance exam assesses the candidates on "Issues of Social Concern."
The entrance exam has 40 questions in total. The IRMASAT exam lasts for 80 minutes. To be prepared for the IRMASAT 2025, candidates can view the demo online mock test on the official IRMA website. Candidates appearing for IRMA admissions need to appear in WAT instead of the IRMASAT 2025 exam. In case, the candidate has appeared both in the CAT or CMAT or is going to appear for the XAT, IRMA will consider a higher score in shortlisting the candidates for WAT & PI. Earlier, before conducting the IRMASAT Entrance exam, the college used to shortlist the candidates based on CAT and XAT scores for IRMASAT.
IRMA will also shortlist the students based on CAT 2023 or XAT 2025 exam scores for its PGDM (RM) program.
Unlike a computer-based IRMASAT, the Written Ability Test (WAT) at IRMA is a paper and pen-based test.
Written Ability Test (WAT) carries a weightage of 5% in the final selection The total duration of the WAT is 30 minutes.

The following pointers will briefly describe the measures that the candidates must undertake to answer the IRMASAT exam questions:
The candidates will see Objective-Type questions on their computer screen.
Each question will be followed by four options out of which only one is correct.
The candidates have to consider all the options before clicking on the correct option.
After providing their response, the candidates have to click on the “Save & Next” button to submit the response.
There will be a “Mark for Review & Next” button which the candidates can click in case they want to change their response which is already submitted.
The candidates will have a specific time limit to lock and submit their response failing to do so will see the system automatically submitting the chosen answer and the candidates will be directed to the next question.
