How to Apply for JEE Advanced 2019

The top 2,24,000 candidates who qualify the JEE Main 2019 exam will be able to successfully register and appear for JEE Advanced 2019 examination. Candidates will be able to fill out and submit the JEE Advanced 2019 application form in the first week of May 2019. Candidates will be able to register for JEE Advanced 2019 exam through the official website where the JEE Advanced admit card will also be published. The application form will not be accepted by courier or post.

It is necessary that prior to filling the application form for JEE Advanced 2019 candidates take a look at JEE Advanced eligibility criteria and instructions so that the form can be filled correctly.

Steps to Fill JEE Advanced Application Form/Registration Form 2019

The JEE Advanced 2019 Application Form will be available online. Candidates must go through the following the steps to successfully fill and submit the JEE Advanced application form:

Registration Procedure:

  • Candidates should register through the online portal.
  • Once logged in, candidates should provide details such as the medium of the question paper language (English or Hindi), the choices of the examination center.
  • Also, aspirants should enter JEE Main 2019 Roll number, email address, Mobile number, and D.O.B to access the JEE Advanced application form.
  • The candidate will have the option of adding another mobile number above the number given during JEE Main registration.
  • The JEE Advanced 2019 result will be provided to the candidates on one of these numbers by text message.

Upload the Scanned Documents:

After providing all the requisite information, the next step is to upload the scanned copies of the documents:

  • Class 10th certificate as 'Date of Birth' proof
  • Class 12th Mark sheet and certificate
  • Category Certificate's (OBC-NCL certificate/SC/ST/PWD)
  • Services scribe form letter
  • OCI certificate or PIO card
  • DS category certificate

Pay Registration Fee of JEE Advanced 2019:

  • The JEE Advanced registration fee can be paid either online or offline.
  • In online mode, the fee payment can be done through net banking or debit card only. Please note no credit card can be used to make the payment.
  • In offline mode, the payment can be done through SBI bank e- challan.
  • Please note the candidates' registration fee is neither refundable nor transferable.

After the successful payment, the candidate must submit the application form and take a print copy of the confirmation page.

Now that the new JEE Advanced 2019 Application Fees has come into effect, the fee for different categories and gender is given below.

Female (All categories) INR 1300 + GST
SC, ST, PwD Candidates INR 1300 + GST

Candidates from SAARC countries $160 + GST
Candidates from non-SAARC countries $300 + GST

1. What is my login ID to apply for JEE Advanced?

Your login is your JEE Main roll number. The password is what you used for JEE Main.

2. Do I need to enter my mobile number on the application form for JEE Advanced?

Yes, you need to have at least one valid mobile number in the application form.

3. Can I use the credit card to pay the registration fee for JEE Advanced?

The registration fee payment is through net banking, debit cards, and SBI challan only. No credit card payment is permitted.

4. Is it advisable to fill in the registration form for JEE Advanced on the last date?

The confirmation from the banks comes only once in a day! So, earlier submission of your application is recommended.

5. During JEE Main registration I mentioned incorrect category. Can I correct it during JEE Advanced registration?

No. The category declared during JEE Main registration cannot be changed.
